It was hot on the Costa Brava thus heading out to the mountains with Jamie - and jumping into cold water pools! - was the right thing to do. Our family of four (two athletic adults and two kids, aged 8 and 11) had a great time on this hike. Great scenery, just the right level of exercise for us that day, and overall pleasant. We had decided from the get-go not to go all the way to the waterfall since we knew it would be too much for the kids. Jamie was knowledgeable, personable, had good stories to tell, and is all-around a great person to spend the day with. He also was very patient and quick to help us adapt when one of our kids had a bit of a meltdown towards at the end of the day. Recommended!

Nice day hike to a beautiful waterfall. Easy hiking trail along the river with a couple of stops to jump in and cool off. Jamie was excellent guide and knowledgeable about the local area and was able to give us recommendations for other trips during our stay. The trip went has planned and was well organized.

Jamie was so accommodating with our family of three young children all under the age of 6. This was such a highlight on our trip and I wish that we had time to do the rest of his adventures. We will certainly be back to do another hike with him.

It was a beautiful day of relaxed hiking in autumn-colored mountains. Jamie easily scaled up the difficulty of the route for me, but there were lots of options for different fitness levels. As it was late November, there were hardly any other people around, so we had all the scenery to ourselves, including the waterfall, where you can swim, if you are not afraid of somewhat chilly waters. I did, and it was fun. After the hike Jamie dropped me off in Girona, advised on the main sights and good places to eat. So I ended up having two experiences in one day: the mountains and Girona. Overall, highly recommended, especially if you want a change of pace and get away from a crowded city for a bit.

I booked a private hike with Jamie and loved every bit of the experience! I was staying in Barcelona so he helped me find the right train and fetched me from the station. Considering how long the hike was and the driving back and forth from the station, the tour was incredibly good value for money. The hike itself was incredible, just so beautiful and Jamie definitely knew how to find the best routes and spots. He was super professional, but also laid-back, friendly and kind. It was great to chat to him but also when there were silences it was very comfortable and I didn't feel pressure at all to have to talk the entire time (which can happen with 1:1 tours). We ended up doing one of the longer routes and I would definitely recommend if your fitness level allows it because the views were phenomenal. The routes are quite flexible based on what your body can manage and Jamie is very accommodating. I went in winter so it was super quiet and peaceful, exactly what you need to clear the mind and recharge. Would highly recommend this tour, and really any other tour with Jamie, he is a wonderful guide and I am confident it would be a highlight of your trip!

I went to the Pyrenees on a private tour with Jamie. I had a wonderful day! Jamie knows his mountain so good and since summer is almost gone, we had the waterfall to ourselves :) The weather was perfect for the hike, not too cold and not too hot. Getting to the meeting point from BCN was super easy.

A beautiful experience, the highlight of my trip to Barcelona! The hike is relatively easy, the views and the forest are amazing and Jamie is very skilled at adjusting his pace to your needs and your tempo. During the hike we were able to swim in three different, absolutely wonderful spots. I must say what a positive experience it was spending a day with Jamie - I was initially worried about having a whole day and maybe not many common topics to talk about during the hike. I am now certain that whoever you are, you'll find a common ground with Jamie. This is definitely a great trip to take even if you're on your own. Jamie is a very friendly, helpful, kind and open-minded guide - I could not recommend this trip more! Thanks a lot Jamie!
