Really good value for money tour with knowledgeable guides. The route is not very long but there is plenty to see along the way. A good café for refreshments at the end.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your lovely review! We’re so happy you enjoyed your visit.
It was an amazing experience, we saw a lot of Koala and another animals. Really recommend!!
We are so glad that you enjoyed your tour! Thanks for leaving us a wonderful review.
We highly recommend (went as a couple) the guided conservationist tour. Was amazing seeing free range native animals like the tasmanian padmelon, koalas, eastern grey kangaroos, swamp wallabies, fairy wren, crimson rosella, yellow Eastern robin, emus, and even an elusive and shy long nosed potoroo! They are doing fantastic conservation projects in the Otways region, and were very kind and knowledgeable. For the price of the private guide conservationist tour we felt it was a very fair price!
Hi Vladimir, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review with us. We really appreciate your support. We’re so glad you got to see such a variety of wildlife with your guide Sylvie!
Great to see the animals in a natural environment. We saw kangaroos, wallabies, emus, koalas. Very informative, well worth the fee and time.
Hi there, thank you so much for leaving a review! We’re glad you enjoyed seeing the animals roaming freely. Thank you for supporting conservation with your visit.
This tour with the very personable Katie was a real revelation. We went on a 75-minute hike through Wildlife Wonders Park on that somewhat murky day and learned as much about koalas and kangaroos as they differ, how best to sight them, where and how. We discovered several koalas with her right at the beginning, then immediately saw the potoroo and pademelon in hiding in the bush! We were thrilled and could learn a lot thanks to this interesting and expert guide for our later solo trips. A highlight of our stay in Apollo Bay.
We are thrilled that you had an incredible time on tour with our wonderful and enthusiastic guide Kaitie. You were certainly lucky to see a potoroo on a daytime tour as well as they are nocturnal - overcast days are often good for wildlife spotting. Thanks for coming and sharing about your highlight experience here at Wildlife Wonders.
Saw koalas, kangaroos, emu, wallabies & others. Great experience!
Thanks so much for coming on a tour! We are so happy you had a great experience and saw a variety of animals.
Great set-up, they provide rain jackets in case the weather turns on you. Extremely knowledgeable staff who are happy to answer questions. Saw so many different animals and plants and learnt so much. Close to apollo bay and a perfect morning stop if you are travelling to the apostles.

We enjoyed a good tour with Cherish. She was enthusiastic knowledgeable and answered our questions in a friendly engaging way. We were lucky enough to some koala’s, one close up as well as Wallabies, kangaroos, emu’s. Cherish also told us about the various plants & trees as well as the important conservation work being done. The team at reception & the emu cafe were also friendly and welcoming. Plus the food & beverages were good. Overall we would recommend a visit

Hi there, thank you for leaving us such a lovely review! We’re very pleased to hear you enjoyed seeing the animals roaming freely within the sanctuary.
Wildlife Wonders is a wildlife sanctuary located in a scenic area not far from Apollo Bay. They operate on guided tour model; their goal is to provide a predator-free enclosed conservation area for native animals. Animals are able to roam freely and did not exhibit any fear of our group as we walked through the area. Note that this is not a zoo - animals are not confined, so there are no guarantees as to what animals will be visible during your visit. That being said, we were able to see kangaroos, potoroos, koalas, and emus. The tour lasts 75 minutes, and each person on the tour is provided with a set of binoculars and an earpiece which makes it easier to hear the guide.
Hi there, thank you so much for visiting us. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave this helpful and informative review of your experience! Thank you for supporting conservation with your visit.
