¿Por qué es tan popular el café colombiano? ¿Qué hay detrás de una taza de café colombiana que la hace tan especial?En Colombia estamos bendecidos con las condiciones geográficas y climáticas ideales para el cultivo del café. Esto combinado con el cuidado y la pasión de los productores de café en cada etapa y los controles estrictos que garantizan la calidad de cada grano, proporcionan una rica industria cafetalera con sostenibilidad económica, social y ambiental. Todo esto equivale a un producto de alta calidad.Esta excursión dura aproximadamente 8 horas y visitaremos una granja de café especializada donde aprenderemos sobre la historia del café, los métodos de preparación y cómo probarlo adecuadamente. También tendremos un productor de café muy apasionado que nos mostrará todo el proceso de cómo se cultiva el café. El almuerzo típico de la región está incluido en la tarifa.

La ida y vuelta desde Cali durará dos horas.
Nos tomaremos nuestro tiempo para hacer una pequeña visita a este pueblo mágico, antes de dirigirnos a la Granja de Café.
Haremos una breve parada en el municipio de Costa Rica, en el departamento de Valle del Cuca. Aquí podremos apreciar la gran cultura en torno al café y su importancia para esta región.
Probaremos una deliciosa comida típica del departamento del Valle del Cauca.
Aprenderemos sobre todo el proceso que tiene lugar antes de que la taza de café llegue a tus manos. Del trasfondo histórico que tiene el café, pasando por el proceso de plantación, recolección, lavado, secado y tostado de los Granos de Café.

It was really cool being able to see how the coffee grows in the forest and learn about the history of how it came to Colombia. Gabriel was our guide and translator and did a fantastic job as well

We visited the finca of Andrés and his family on 22.2.2026. The driver Armando picked us up at the accommodation and we were lucky to have the private tour that day. It was an amazing experience, Andrés really gives you a detailed information not only about coffee, how it grows, how it is processed, and what are different ways of preparing it, but also explains about the conservartion of the environment, and flora and fauna around the finca. His wife prepared an amazing lunch for us, and overall we enjoyed this experience very much! Also, Armando the driver is really nice guy. Would definitely return and also stay on their finca next time as they also offer accommdation.

Amazing experience. All explained about what's behind a cup of coffee. The visit to the magic village, its food, drinks and typical sweets also had to taste. The guides and our operator very friendly at all times. It was a learning visit to value every cup of coffee we had in the morning and to identify a good coffee.

Gabriel was an absolutely great tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. The coffee farm tour was fantastic. I learned so much and had a fantastic time. Make sure to wear good walking shoes as you'll cover a good amount of ground. Really fortunate to have Gabriel as a tour guide as well!
