Su aventura privada en el vino comienza con una cálida bienvenida de nuestro experto guía local, que lo recogerá directamente desde su alojamiento en Santiago. A medida que viaja por la ciudad hacia el Destino Turístico Cajón del Maipo, su guía compartirá fascinantes historias sobre las diferentes áreas de la ciudad y sobre el patrimonio de Chile y ofrecerá información valiosa sobre la vida local.
Harás una parada en la entrada del Cajón del Maipo para disfrutar de una vista panorámica de las montañas y el río. Al mismo tiempo, conocerás los acontecimientos políticos de la dictadura de Pinochet.
Pararemos donde tú quieras para hacer fotos y disfrutar de las vistas del valle. Al ser un tour privado, podemos adaptarnos completamente a tus necesidades.
Visitarás la histórica ciudad de San José de Maipo, fundada por Ambrosio O'Higgins en 1792. Explora la rica historia de la ciudad mientras paseas por sus calles. Verás la iglesia principal (parroquia) construida en 1798, la plaza central, el antiguo hospital, el ayuntamiento y una encantadora cafetería local.
Visitarás la Casa de Chocolate en el Camino al Volcán, un lugar encantador y extravagante conocido por su arquitectura única y sus deliciosos dulces. Disfruta del ambiente acogedor y decide si quieres disfrutar de un delicioso chocolate o de un helado.
Pasarás por el Túnel Tinoco en Cajón del Maipo, un impresionante túnel histórico construido a principios del siglo XX. Explore su interesante construcción y conozca su importancia para el desarrollo de la región y los desafíos que enfrenta durante su construcción. Por motivos de seguridad, desde 2025 ya no se permite entrar.
Visitarás Embalse El Yeso, un impresionante embalse rodeado de los majestuosos Andes. Disfruta de las impresionantes vistas de las aguas turquesas y las imponentes montañas, mientras aprendes sobre la importancia del embalse para la región. Atención : El acceso a Embalse El Yeso está cerrado desde mayo hasta finales de noviembre. Durante este período, visitaremos un mirador alternativo donde podrá admirar el impresionante Volcán Maipo desde la distancia.
En esta zona visitarás un reconocido restaurante local donde saborearás un delicioso almuerzo tradicional chileno.
Visitarás una región vinícola del Valle del Maipo en auto, donde tu guía te hablará sobre el famoso valle del vino y descubrirás el significado del valle y por qué es tan importante para Chile y muy apreciado en la industria vitivinícola chilena.
Visitarás la reconocida Bodega Concha y Toro para un tour premium, degustando tres vinos excepcionales mientras exploras el rico patrimonio del viñedo y aprendes sobre la cultura vitivinícola chilena. Dependiendo del momento y de la decisión del guía según los deseos de los clientes, se puede visitar una bodega boutique alternativa en el Valle del Maipo.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on out tour with Ignacio. He shared lots of interesting information about Chile & the region and showed us a lot of beautiful sites. The pace of the tour never felt rushed and focused on things that interested us. Our lunch stop was delightful and the food was delicious! We were able to try multiple different menu items and of course some Chilean wine. Speaking of wine, our winery visit was perfect. We felt like VIPs. All in all in was a fantastic tour and a fabulous day trip from Santiago.

What a wonderful tour of the Chilean Andes and local towns this was! With Ignacio as my personal guide, I saw so many examples of Chile’s natural beauty, including breathtaking landscapes, as well as an historical town and a first-class winery, rich with Chilean history and unique architecture. I particularly appreciated Ignacio’s knowledge of Chile’s independence movement in the 19th century, as well as his insights into the country’s more recent social progress and governmental evolution over the last 50 years. We had a great day of weather, a comfy and safe drive, saw the volcano, short hike to a waterfall, and ate some really good food. Corn pastry and empanadas pino are a must at reataurants along the route. Great advice from Ignacio on the winery visit. Would not change anything.

Lovely walk. The places visited all very nice. The excellent guide knew a lot and was very friendly. We did the walk at our own pace, as we enjoyed each stop. Lunch was very good. Thank you so much!

Ignacio was very engaging and informative on this tour. He did do his best to make it interesting given the constraints with regard to the closure of the road into Cajon del Maipo. A short walk to the edge of the reservoir was the the only option. We were able to get a private wine tour to Besoain winery a family owned business. Overall a great experience.

We had a fantastic tour with City Trekking. Ignacio was a wonderful guide throughout. We learned about Chilean history, took in the amazing views, and had a delicious lunch. We were driven safely through the Andes mountains and appreciate it so much. A lot of thought and care went into our itinerary and it shows.
