Su origen se remonta al Karalis fenicio, desarrollado sobre un asentamiento remontado al III Milenio a.C. Durante la época romana se convirtió en la capital de la isla, y en la Edad Media fue sede de diferentes dominaciones extranjeras, cuyas evanescencias aún son visibles. Los puntos panorámicos de Castello nos ofrecerán una vista inolvidable de la ciudad y del mar, del parque de Molentargius y de la Silla del Diablo en toda su belleza.

We had a very informative tour with Silvia, who was super kind, our dog was with us and it wasn’t a problem. We got to learn a lot about the history of the city, but she was also happy to anwser questions about the everday life of locals today and even gave us a tip on where to spot flamingos nearby.
