This Cape Sounio tour was one of the most relaxing parts of our trip. The drive along the Athenian Riviera was beautiful, with amazing sea views almost the entire way. When we reached the Temple of Poseidon, the setting was even better than expected — standing there overlooking the Aegean Sea is something you don’t forget easily. Maria shared some interesting history and mythology but also gave us time to explore on our own. Everything was easy and well timed, and it never felt rushed. We booked the Sounio tour mainly for the views, and it completely exceeded expectations. The coastal route from Athens was beautiful from start to finish, and once we arrived at the Temple of Poseidon the scenery was simply stunning. There’s something very peaceful about being there, with the sea all around and the temple standing on the cliff. Our guide kept the experience relaxed and gave us just the right amount of historical background without turning it into a lecture. It felt more like a memorable escape from the city than a typical sightseeing tour, and we genuinely loved every minute of it.

The Cape Sounio tour turned out to be one of the most relaxing and beautiful experiences we had during our stay in Athens. We loved our sunset tour to Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion! Our driver was very willing, kind and full of interesting stories about the coast. The golden-hour views were absolutely magical, the car was comfortable, and everything felt effortless. The scenery was fantastic.A top choice if you want a relaxed half-day escape from Athens. We stopped by the lake for a little bit and few other view points for photos. We really want to stay for the sunset at the temple of poseidon. He's flexible and we stayed and watch the sunset. We took a lot of pictures with the sunset. It is really nice to see the temple as the sun rays light on it. In summary, Dimitrios is informative and flexible to our schedule.
