Great experience. Tour guide and captain were knowledgeable and professional.
Do not use this vendor! They canceled it with no email or notification due to a fire. We found out at the dock and trip advisor / visitor will not refund our money. After we paid a taxi to get there, we were sent away and still no refund a week later.
We had bad luck the tour did not doc us at the beach due to 2 boats catching on fire and contaminating the water we only went for a boat ride however I do have to say the tour guides were very good which helped make the trip better.
That it was well organized. The guides were very informative. Safety was a big concern of theirs for the people.
Great Captain Jose. Took the time to explain all the area and all the passengers enjoyed the trip with his jokes.
We had an absolutely amazing experience! We realized that we were going to miss our original booking time and we reached out the night before to get it moved back. We made the new time and had just the absolute best time. Our tour guide was both personable and knowledgeable. We saw pelicans and manta rays and sea lions. We heard the different names of the rocks and spent enough time at the arch to take pictures of everyone in our party of 14. And speaking of the pictures --they were fantastic! We ended up getting the package for all of them for $100. But note that the photos were done independently of Gregory Tours, so our guy charged like $20 per individual photo, so the package made way more sense. Bottom line: I absolutely recommend! I'm so glad we did the tour!
There was no mention of reporting 20 mins prior in the booking or posting. And it is enforced so even though we got there right at 11(booked time), and the 11 o clock group was about to go, we were made to wait an hour for joining the 12 o clock tour. That impacted our plans and with kids this kind of miscommunication is not a good way to place the expectation. We do take the blame for not showing up 20 mins prior as a general rule but that’s also about no strict requirement communicated to us, and also us having a spot that was booked and given away(they said it’s full now). Caution - the boat is very generic and old and pacific makes it rocky and almost tilted near the arch, recommend going to the marina and checking what boat you are about to get on and deciding based on your comfort level, this tour may not be for everyone. Also the beach where they drop is pretty crowded so it may not be the best experience if you’re looking for a calm beach outing as a part of the tour. There are possibly 20+ boats around the beach, and you can consider this purely as a boat ride that does a short distance and back.
The experience was very nice, the coordination was swift and easy. The excitement of all of the boats coming in and out of the marina was mind-boggling. It is worth the money, and l loved the flexibility of the crew. The views are beautiful and you will be able to get shot that are only available by boat.
10/10. The beach was amazing. Our tour guide was amazing. Would definitely do again. My daughter had so much fun and my MIL stayed in the water the entire time.
After finding our meeting point shortly before noon, we waited in the hot sun until they split everyone up into various groups for the different tours and then led each group down a pier and onto small boats. The whole process seemed pretty disorganized, with multiple groups from multiple companies leaving and entering the pier. By 12:15 our group of 14 were packed onto a small boat (at least there were enough life jackets) all facing each other. Our “guide” spoke very little English, but we gathered that Lover’s Beach was closed (apparently due to high waves), and we had very few options for a beach. Our boat headed out to a view of the arch, with our guide pointing out (in Spanish) a few landmarks that we really couldn’t see without contorting our bodies around because of the close quarters. Once we had a view of the arch, our group took turns posing for photos in the front of the boat while the driver jockeyed with dozens of other boats all trying to get a clear view of the arch in the background. On the way back we dropped off a couple of people from our group at a small beach along the peninsula, but it was a little tricky getting in and out of the boat because there was no place to actually dock and most of our group decided against it. We were back at the pier at 1.
