The tour was great because we were able to pick the places we wanted to go to, and Linda the tour guide was cordial, very nice, and always paying attention to everyone in our group. She made sure we were enjoying the experience, learning about Busan, and she guided us at all times. Linda learned the names of all of us 14 family members. It was a day we will always remember.

My 15-year-old daughter and I were picked up by William at Busan Station early in the morning after arriving on the 5:00 a.m. train from Seoul. Since we were running on very little sleep, we asked if we could stop for coffee first, and William took us to what ended up being the best coffee shop we visited during our entire trip to Korea. From there, we spent the day exploring Busan’s highlights. William took us to Gamcheon Culture Village, where we wandered through the colorful hillside streets and enjoyed the incredible views. We then visited Songdo Beach and the beautiful coastal area nearby before heading to Jagalchi Fish Market, where we got a glimpse of Busan’s famous seafood culture. One thing I especially appreciated was William’s flexibility. We had a specific restaurant in mind for lunch, and he went out of his way to find the exact location and make sure we got there without any hassle. After lunch, we continued to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the most breathtaking temples in Korea, dramatically situated along the coastline. We also stopped at the Cheongsapo Skywalk, which offered spectacular ocean views and was one of our favorite photo spots of the day. To finish the day, Korea Discovery Tours had already arranged tickets for the Haeundae Sky Capsule, perfectly timed for sunset. Watching the sun set over the coastline from the Sky Capsule was an unforgettable experience and the perfect ending to an amazing day in Busan. I cannot recommend booking a private tour with a car and guide highly enough. While Busan has excellent public transportation, the city is spread out, and having a knowledgeable local guide allowed us to see so much more in a single day than we could have managed on our own. The vehicle was spotless and comfortable, the itinerary was seamless, and William was professional, friendly, flexible, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the entire experience. If you’re visiting Busan and want to maximize your time while enjoying a stress-free experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Korea Discovery Tours and William. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Korea.

Danny was an amazing and gracious guide! He took such great care of us and really made us feel welcome. He had great ideas on what to see and was very accommodating for any side trips we wanted to make along the way. He also did an amazing job documenting our day with photos that he shared that we'll treasure. He was such an amazing person to spend a day with; it was like having a family member who lived there and took us around to see the best sights. It was an amazing experience the whole family enjoyed. Our guide was very friendly, and very accommodating. He spoke with us prior to the trip to make sure we’re hitting all of the things we wanted to see. As the tour progressed he also checked with us, offering us different options to make sure we’re staying on the things that we wanted to see most. We had Jino as our tour guide in Busan last year when we brought my parents, and we loved him so much that we specifically requested him again for this trip with our daughters and my wife’s brother and sister. Honestly, we didn't think he could top our last experience, but he was somehow even more amazing this time around. Jino just has this wonderful, endearing and genuine way of making you feel completely at home and welcomed. He doesn’t just show you around; he really takes care of you. We visited the Haedongyonggungsa Buddhist Temple, Gamcheon Culture Village, Ahopsan Bamboo Forest, and the Jagalchi Fish Market. Hearing his stories and in depth knowledge really enriched our experience and appreciation of these incredible parts of Busan culture and history; it felt so much more special than just checking sights off a list. What really made it special, though, was how much Jino truly cares about his guests. He constantly went out of his way to make sure we were completely comfortable. He’d grab our heavy backpacks so we didn't have to carry them, he took tons of great family pictures for us, and he was always focused on what we needed. It was way more than you would ever expect from a tour guide. The sweetest part of the trip was how he treated my daughters. They were really hoping to visit a Miffy Cafe while we were in town. Jino not only worked it into our schedule, but he actually found the time to take us to TWO different Miffy Cafe locations in Busan! He was incredibly patient while they shopped and never made us feel rushed for a single second. If you’re coming to Busan, do yourself a favor and ask for Jino. He is a genuinely kind person who just wants you to have the best trip possible, and we are so incredibly grateful for him!
