Una de las actividades más emocionantes para hacer es explorar las dunas en estos vehículos llamados buggies. El amplio paisaje desértico que apreciaremos será impresionante y lleno de emoción, atrévete a dominar las laderas de las vastas dunas del desierto y siente la adrenalina correr por tu cuerpo.

Itinerario
Nuestra excursión parte desde el Hotel “La Casa del Bambú”, ubicado en los alrededores del Oasis de la Huacachina. Luego, nuestro conductor de buggy acompañará a nuestros pasajeros a una caseta de control turístico, donde nuestros pasajeros deberán pagar un impuesto turístico de S/ 3.60 soles por persona. Luego procederemos a subir una pequeña duna de arena para abordar los Buggies e iniciar el recorrido. Nuestro conductor profesional iniciará el recorrido por el desierto y hará diferentes paradas para que nuestros clientes puedan apreciar el paisaje, para que puedan tomar fotografías. Luego conduciremos nuestro vehículo hasta la cima de una gran duna donde nuestro guía instructor le mostrará cómo practicar el deporte del Sandboarding. Una vez en la cima podrás disfrutar de este deporte, y además podrás hacer muchas fotos. Finalmente retornaremos a la laguna de Huacachina, donde los pasajeros deberán retornar al punto de partida (Hotel El Bambú) y finalizar el servicio. En la oficina podemos ofrecer a nuestros turistas servicios de taxi. ______ Our excursion starts from the Hotel "La Casa del Bamboo", located in the surroundings of the Huacachina Oasis. Then, our buggy driver will accompany our passengers to a tourist control booth, where our passengers must pay a tourist tax of S/3.60 soles per person. Then we will proceed to climb a small sand dune to board the Buggies and start the tour. Our professional driver will start the desert tour and will make different stops so that our clients can appreciate the landscape, so they can take pictures. Then we will drive our vehicle to the top of a large dune where our instructor guide will show you how to practice the sport of Sandboarding. Once at the top you can enjoy this sport, and you can also take many photos. Finally we will return to the Huacachina lagoon, where passengers must return to the starting point (Hotel El Bamboo) and end the service. In the office we can offer our tourists taxi services.
Los turistas recorrerán el desierto de Huacachina (Ica) en un Buggy con capacidad para 10 pasajeros (aproximadamente). Los pasajeros realizarán un recorrido por las dunas de Ica y haremos algunas paradas para practicar sandboard. Finalmente podremos ver la puesta de sol en el último turno del día. ______ Tourists will visit the desert of Huacachina (Ica) in a Buggy with a capacity of 10 passengers (approximately). The passengers will take a tour of the dunes and we will make stops to practice sandboarding. Finally we will be able to see the sunset in the last shift of the day. * Important note: For "official holidays" in Peru, the duration of the Buggy ride will last approximately 01 hour (In all shifts from 10am to the last departure 5pm). On "normal" days (no official holydays), the only 02-hour tour is from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m (All other shifts before 4:00 pm will only last 01 hour).

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Es importante saber que durante las fiestas peruanas (Semana Santa, Fiestas Patrias, Nochevieja y otras), los servicios de buggy se reducirán debido a la alta demanda de pasajeros durante las fiestas peruanas. Los bugies suelen funcionar durante aproximadamente una hora. Se recomienda seleccionar la última salida entre las 5 :00 y las 5 : 30 p.m. para completar el recorrido con vista al atardecer entre las 6 :00 y las 6 : 30 p.m. aproximadamente (dependiendo de la temporada).

We had an amazing experience with Sam Travel Experience! Sam himself is so kind and helpful. And the experience was amazing, such beautiful scenery, fun dune buggy and sand sledding rides, and amazing sunset. Must do and I very much recommend Sam! My partner and I had actually booked a private tour with a different operator who didn’t show up. Our meeting point was close by to Sam’s business and when he saw we needed help, he first helped us by trying to call the tour operator (who answered his call after not answering 3 of ours), speaking to them to try to figure out our tour with the other company, and after we realized they weren’t coming he added us to the sunset group tour operated by his company. It was extremely kind hospitality even when starting out he was helping us to go with another company.

100% recommend this tour if you are visiting Huacachina! Everything is well organised and the company is proactive with reaching out and helping if you have any questions. The tour was great going the dunes and everyone has an opportunity to try out sand boarding. Our guide let people go more than once if we wished to. We also had enough time to stop and take pictures and the guide also took pictures for the group which was very helpful. We ended in time to watch the sunset before heading back to the town.

Lots of fun being driven over the dunes, with plenty of time for photos and the opportunity to sandboard. The start of the tour was disorganised - we were told to meet at a hostel at 15:45, but were then told at 16:30 to walk to the dunes. We probably didn’t lose much time, but we were waiting around for a while with no communication from the company.

The experience was so fun with sandboarding, buggy drivers are very professional always caring about safety first and also very kind. Enjoying a sunset in the dessert in Peru was unique.

The tours, the yransport were very cheverous. It struck me that in the two plans we chose there was no mention of samtravels, but everything was still very good!!

The buggy ride in the Huacachina Oasis was one of the most incredible tourist experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve traveled quite a bit. The adventure begins in a breathtaking setting, with stunning views of the massive dunes. The place is packed with buggies — or, as I like to call them, true Mad Max-style sand conquerors. Each buggy holds about eight people, and while it’s an adventurous ride, it’s surprisingly comfortable for what it is. But don’t forget: this is an adrenaline-packed activity! It feels like a rollercoaster in the middle of the desert, with the roar of the engine as you go up and down massive dunes that make your stomach churn with excitement. It’s worth every penny, and the price is surprisingly affordable for everything you get. And the best part? We made several stops to slide down the dunes on sandboards and watched a stunning sunset disappearing behind the golden, fine sands. Our driver was fantastic and very attentive. I highly recommend this experience, and I would gladly do it again!

Was very fun and the guide was nice. We had booked the tour of one hour, you then walked 5min to a car and after another 40min was dropped off again to walk back through the oasis. So a little shorter than expected and therefore not quite cheap. But you must have made it very funny. The oasis is very nice.
