Tour de Buffalo Trace, Bulleit, Pappy & Co. y Rabbit Hole Bourbon

Be prepared for an exciting all day event, roughly about 10hrs. Stay hydrated days before the tour. Dress accordingly to the weather and get a lot of sleep the night before.

From beginning to end the whole Mint Julep Touring Staff were spot on with all aspects of our private tours. Starting with Aften getting the initial private tours for two days and then finalizing with Abby and confirming exactly the timing of each tour with lunches in between. The day prior to our full day tours we were contacted by our tour guides, first day Jim, second day Cindy, on the timing of our pick up at the hotel we were staying at to begin the full day tours. Service Quality and Customer Focus by all was quite impressive in today’s world. Jim and Nancy went beyond the call of duty in seeing to our requests and insuring our tours were on time even adding some extra distilleries to visit their shops in the process. Mint Julep Experience is the Benchmark!!

We had a great time on the tour. Bobby was our guide and he was well informed and easy to talk to. He kept the tour interesting on the longer part of the ride. We also thought he had great tips. Would highly recommend.

We went with a group of 20 others on a small comfortable bus. Our guide Bruce was knowledgeable and fun. When we hit Buffalo Trace they had 4 releases which was great. Lunch at Limewater was excellent! We made 20 new friends and 8 of them returned the next day as we did to hit Woodford and a few others distilleries. Woodford is a beautiful tour and our guide at Woodford, Kane, was a hoot. Lunch at Ricardo’s was good but not as good as Limewater. For handling a public tour I thought Mint Julep did great and they have several good options to hit different distilleries along.

The Mint Julep public tour is a worthwhile full day experience which takes the hassle out of planning, introduces you to a fun group of people, shares insider knowledge, and takes you by some bonus hidden gems. Included lunch was high end and exceeded expectations. Even if all of the distilleries weren't initially on your list to visit, it is still a great experience that is above and beyond just doing the distillery tours and tastings. Highly recommend especially for any solo travelers or small groups that want to visit the bourbon trail out of town without driving.

I was on a tour with Gary and Dan. The tour was amazing overall. Dan was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I also learned so much about the history of Kentucky and the bourbon industry, including new information I hadn’t yet learned since my prior tour a few days ago. Awesome experience overall and would definitely recommend!

2nd trip taken with Mint Julep Experiences - Louisville and same as the 1st, it was great. Jerry (driver) and Cindy (guide) were fantastic! Favorite stop was Bulleit (Jeremy our tour guide) was so much fun and made it all of our favorite stops that day.

Fantastic experience with Mint Julep Tours! We visited Bulleit and Buffalo Trace and learned about the legendary Pappy Van Winkle along the way. The entire day was well organized and stress-free. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared a lot of great bourbon history that made the stops even more interesting. Each distillery had its own unique atmosphere — Bulleit was modern and impressive, while Buffalo Trace had incredible history and beautiful grounds. The tastings were excellent and gave us a great variety of bourbons to try. It was the perfect way to experience the bourbon trail without worrying about transportation or planning. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys bourbon or just wants a fun and informative day in Kentucky!
