Getting up early was more than worth it! I absolutely enjoyed the tour. Preetham is an excellent, very attentive tour guide with a lot of knowledge about the history of India and Bengaluru, religion and culture. He knows the hidden corners and the hotspots. I saw a lot on this tour, it was well organized, secure and gave an interesting view of the lively city.
Hi, Thank you for sharing such a lovely review. We're delighted to hear that the early start was worthwhile and that you enjoyed exploring the city’s hidden corners and vibrant culture. It’s wonderful to know the experience felt well organized, insightful, and comfortable throughout. We truly appreciate your kind recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Cycling through this city is truly a highlight. A big compliment goes to Lohit; he is super friendly, explains everything very clearly, and gave us a wonderful insight into the culture of Bangalore. It was extremely interesting.
Hi Kevin, Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that cycling through the city was a highlight for you and that the tour offered a meaningful insight into Bangalore’s culture. We look forward to welcoming you back on another Unventured adventure.
We had an amazing time doing the “Good Morning Bengaluru Cycling Tour” with Ajith as our guide. We started just before dawn when the city was still slow and quiet. Ajith is a very enthusiastic and energetic guide with a lot of local knowledge and facts about Bengaluru and its history. Cycling through the city felt comfortable and safe with him as a guide. Slowly but surely you see the city and its people waking up till it’s buzzing all around you. You make several stops at landmarks and also a stop for coffee and later a local breakfast at the market. The tour was definitely worthwhile and a would recommend to anyone who is interested in exploring Bengaluru in the morning!
Hi, Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted you enjoyed exploring Bengaluru at dawn and that Ajith’s energy and insights made the ride memorable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to hosting you on another Unventured adventure soon!
Ajith took me around. Comms of where to meet were great (even kept in touch via WhatsApp as I was late!). Good English, good knowledge. Went at my pace (quick) which I appreciated. He asked at every stage what I was comfortable with (cycling, local food/drinks etc). It would have been nice to take some pictures in the temples t their rules, not his. Would recommend.
Hey there, Thank you for such a wonderful review! Ajith personally enjoyed cycling with you and sharing insights about the city he loves and belongs to. We always have such a pleasure hosting you. :D Glad you enjoyed the ride. We hope you would recommend us to your friends coming into the city to explore Bengaluru the Unventured way. :D Looking forward to having you again. Keep in touch. Best Regards, Team Unventured!
There is nothing like being on a bike to truly get a feel for Bengalore's organized chaos and untold traffic rules, ride thru neighborhoods and experience the local stand up coffee places and traditional food. Along with that, Jyoti has a wealth of knowledge that spans from India history, Hinduism, local food and traditions, which make the visits super interesting. Add her kindness to the mix, and you got yourself an "amazing day with Jyoti"
Hey Sabine, we are so glad you enjoyed your experience with Unventured. Jyoti had a great time showing you around the early morning streets of Bengaluru. We look forward to you joining us on many such adventurous trails. Do keep in touch. Best Regards, Team Unventured.
This tour will have you seeing and experiencing things that wouldn’t happen during independent sightseeing. Our enthusiastic guide was charming and informative. The refreshments stops were great for this lover of coffee and Indian food. The cycling was challenging but not beyond the abilities of anyone that has ridden before. This was my second tour with Unventured and I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for your kind words Bronwyn. We had such a great time showing you and Bradley around the streets of Bengaluru and Mysuru. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the trails as much as we did. Looking forward to you joining us on many such trails in the future. Best Regards, Team Unventured.
For anyone who loves cycling, this is a really exhilarating way to see some of the older neighbourhoods as they wake up. Our guide put us at ease and made sure we could negotiate Bangalore traffic safely. The bikes were in great condition and handled well, making for fun biking through the streets to discover some of the history, culture and religion of the city. Definitely something a bit different.
Thank you for the wonderful review Paul. We had a fun time riding with you through the early morning streets of Bengaluru and we hope you'll let us host you on another interesting and different trail sometime soon in the future. :D Best Regards, Team Unventured.
Our tour of Bangalore with Unventured was truly unique and altogether amazing. Never have I felt so empowered by a guided tour - Niranjen trusted us on Unventured's top notch bikes and didn't make us feel like fragile tourists. Instead our group felt like friends on an adventure together! It certainly should be done with caution and good sense and participants should have a level of fitness but that is exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for. It scratches an itch for those within the cycling niche.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Heather. You and your colleagues were an absolute delight to ride with and we had just as much fun helping you explore the early morning secrets of the city. Do stay in touch. Best Regards, Team Unventured.
We are always looking for interesting ways to see historical places and I found out about this trip a couple of years ago and have been setting aside a little here and there and finally made it happen this October. We are so glad we were not only finally able to see places we’d only read about, but we did so on bikes with our children! Consider it when looking for an authentic way to explore this incredible country!
Hi there. Hosting families is something we absolutely adore and we're glad to hear that you and your kids had a great time. :D We are looking forward to hosting you soon again on one of our interesting trails. Best Regards, Team Unventured!
I booked a Good Morning Bengaluru Tour with Guru last minute as Unventured came highly recommended by the Concierge of the hotel I was staying at. I was on a work trip with very limited time to see the city and even less time to research tours and activities that would fit my schedule. I can definitively say that this 4+ hr. bike tour was the cultural highlight of my week in town (first time to both Bengaluru and India). The bike ride itself showed a fascinating side of the city that not many get to see from within the confines of a car/Uber going from Point A to Point B: cows being milked in the street not miles from the tech hubs, the early AM tradition of rangoli, the cultural/historical backdrop behind the temples we visited, local market customs. As a lover of food, Guru (and Tej who was training that day) went out of his way to plan a few extra stops to try the local cuisine (coffee, breakfast, snacks), making this tour exceed the already high expectations! (A word of caution that if you aren't used to biking or have never seen the organized chaos that is Indian traffic, you may want a few practice runs on your bike and/or to request to start off on easier streets vs. the highways right off Lalbagh but personally, the exhilaration helped me work up an appetite!). What made this tour truly special was Guru and Tej's own insights into the city beyond just reciting historical dates and names. Stories like those are what allow me to soak in and remember a city long after I've left. Every question I asked from religion to the differences between chappati and roti were met with enthusiasm and a clear love of preserving the local flavor. Had I had more time, I would gladly have signed up for more of Unventured's tours and hope I can join future ones soon. Most tours can recite text...very few can provide context. Unventured is clearly the latter. - Paolo E.
Hi there, Bengaluru has always been a city of contradictions and we are glad to know that you loved them as much as we loved introducing you to them. We hope to have you back in India and on another of our Unventured adventure soon for you to create more memorable memories with us and with our city. :D Do stay in touch! Best Regards, Team Unventured!
