If you are in Budapest, a ‘spa city’, then this is a must for something to do. The thermal pools at the Széchenyi Spa are exceptional on their own. The building itself is a marvel. Starting with the Beer Bath just made it an even cooler experience! Just do it! Worth every penny!
Very disappointing and misleading. Several major facilities were closed, including the thermal pool, outdoor pool, saunas, steam room and cold plunge. This should have been clearly disclosed before selling full-price tickets. Paying full price for a significantly reduced experience is unacceptable. I feel we were misled at the time of purchase
After exploring the city for 2 days, it was very relaxing, and much needed, and the beer is good too.
Something to do once in your life, very beautiful but very dirty, too dirty and poorly maintained. Too bad
The Beer Spa was a very unique and fun experience. You soak in the hops solution for 45 minutes, and can drink all of the beer you can. We purchased 1 private changing room which was large enough for the 2 of us, and locked securely with your wrist band. We also e Enjoyed the multiple indoor and outdoor pools.
The experience wasnt what we expected. We thought we would have separate baths in a private room. In fact we were sharing the bath in a room with 3 other couples. It would be lovely for groups but wasnt for us!
Relaxing and healthy experience. Very nice staff at the beers-spa. Make sure to bring slippers and towel 🩴🍺 when you visit the thermal Bath.
It was funny and nice. But we had the impression, that the beer is light weight, e.g., 2.5 vol.% or similar. But over all :-)
The baths are a must, of course. But it should be noted that it is overpriced. We had booked with GetYourGuide (with whom we are otherwise very satisfied regarding other bookings made in Budapest or elsewhere) and we had to pay double to get an individual cabin, which is associated with a pathetic VIP service. It was hot, and there were a lot (too many) of people. The hunt for lounge chairs is not worthy of the price paid. The hygiene is not impeccable.
