Had a great time. We had three Tour guides on this as they were training Daniel, the two ladies were absolutely lovey. I'm sorry I forget your names the blonde and the brunette. 🤩
We went on the walking tour with our older parents. The tour was well organized. The guide gave of lots of information about the city and the food and they had two guides so the slower people in the group didn’t get left behind or slow down the faster people. And of course the food was amazing!
We are a three generation family, ranging in age from 22 to 80 and we all enjoyed the tour. Our guides, Flora and Nikki, were fun to talk to and were very knowledgeable. We find food tours are a great way to learn about the history and culture of a country in a family friendly way and this tour was no exception.
Flora and Niki were great guides and the food was amazing. Love this tour and highly recommend Foodapest
Enjoyable night, food and drinks were great. Guides were friendly and shared their knowledge of local cuisine.
I’ve done countless food tours across more than 12 countries, but this one truly stands out as something special! From the start, the setup was fantastic. The meeting location allowed me to show up an hour early to explore a vibrant local market just down the street, a hidden gem I never would have discovered on my own. Our hosts: Flora(hopefully spelled right), Niki, and Danika, were exceptional. Their incredible energy, warmth, and depth of knowledge (not just about local history, but about other cultures as well) genuinely blew me away. The history shared throughout the tour was incredibly eye-opening, and tasting authentic, traditional Hungarian food in Budapest was a real highlight. To top it all off, we were given a sweet little recipe book to take home. In all my travels and food tours around the world, I’ve never had a guide team do that before! It’s such a thoughtful touch that lets you bring the experience home with you. If you're in Budapest, do not hesitate, book this tour! Massive thanks to Flora, Niki, and Danika for an unforgettable experience.
The tour was fun with a great sampling of food.
My daughter and I did this tour today (August 8, 2026) and it was fabulous! Our guide Ester was wonderful. She has a good voice for guiding and gathers everyone close so they can hear. She explained so much about the food and how it related to the Hungarian culture and history. Portion size was quite large and by the time we finished, we knew that we would need no dinner. We also enjoyed the very international group of participants. This was a GREAT tour-well worth the price.
It was very interesting, tasty and super nice guide Eszter! Thanks for an amazing time! 🥘
Ester and Flora were lovely, enthusiastic and entertaining. The food was delicious and they got us guessing the flavours - not as easy as it sounds. As we walked between food stops we had lovely conversations and Flora gave me a great suggestion about postcards for the rest of my trip - you’ll have to join her on a tour to find out her brilliant idea. As for Steve? The answer is at the market
