Just two of us booked this tour and our terrific guide, Andrea.met us right on time prepared to do the entire tour like a private event for us. Let me first suggest that you skip breakfast as there is a lot of delicious food offered. The tour is a mix of history, architecture, culture and insight into local lifestyles. We were delighted to use public transport as we traversed the city. The food and experience at the market place was particularly enjoyable. I highly recommend this experience and hope that you are fortunate enough to have Andrea as your guide.

Andrea was a nice guide, she told us about Bucarest history and took us to some nice places. A restaurant where the locals eat, a nice market, a church and a barbeque restaurant. She listened to the wishes of our family members.
Andreea was so knowledgeable and passionate about her home town of Bucharest and it showed. She provided us a great variety of foods that are cultural staples in the Romanian diet and took the time to share with us some important historical facts as we made our way through the city, which we really appreciated. It was such a great tour and very well thought out.

My wife and I were recently in Bucharest for a river cruise and did the Bucharest food walking tour with Intrepid Urban Adventures. This was our second time using Intrepid Urban Adventures for a food walking tour. Daniel was a great guide with a wealth of knowledge and down to earth. The tour allowed us to experience different parts of the city, while getting to indulge in local cuisine. The tour is capped at 12 people, which is the perfect size. The tour was five hours, but the time went by fast!! For all of the food included on the tour and great information provided by Daniel, the cost was well worth it. We would definitely recommend this tour and would highly recommend Daniel!

Andrea did an excellent job. She covered a lot of history of Bucharest and getting to visit the markets where the locals shop was fabulous.
