Descubra el edificio más bonito de Bucarest
Vea la estatua del primer rey de Rumania, Carol I, el antiguo Palacio Real y la impresionante Biblioteca Universitaria y descubra todo sobre la increíble historia de la monarquía en este país.
En la imponente Plaza de la Revolución se comprenderá la dura opresión comunista y cuánto control ejerció el régimen totalitario sobre la vida de los lugareños. Se contarán historias de evolución y logros increíbles, pero también sobre el hambre y las raciones de alimentos, coronadas por imágenes de esos tiempos, para un efecto más dramático. Aquí también escucharán la historia de la sangrienta revolución de diciembre de 1989 y la caída definitiva del dictador Nicolae Ceaușescu, testigo del nacimiento de la Rumania democrática.
Luego caminaremos por la avenida donde los reyes paseaban diariamente: la romántica Calea Victoriei. Se pueden admirar magníficas estructuras Belle Epoque como el Palacio CEC, el Grand Hôtel du Boulevard o la Biblioteca de la Universidad.
Al comienzo del recorrido, caminaremos por el casco antiguo de Bucarest, siguiendo los pasos del personaje más espantoso de la historia, Vlad Drácula, y descubriremos su fortaleza olvidada. En el caravanserai cercano, Manuc's Inn, un impresionante antiguo asentamiento comercial, descubra cómo evolucionó Bucarest en la fusión de dos mundos diferentes: Oriente y Occidente. Más tarde, lo llevaremos a encontrar una mezcla ecléctica de edificios como el Banco Nacional de Rumania, el Monasterio de Stavropoleos y el Pasaje de Villacrosse y seguramente quedará encantado con el ambiente animado de este barrio.

Stefan did a great job of introducing us to Bucharest. Alongside the references to important historical figures and places Stefan also discussed the impact personalities and politics had on the everyday life of ordinary citizens.
