Su guía experto se asegurará de su comodidad mientras lo guían por el bullicioso Mercado La Cruz, donde probará los desayunos más deliciosos que el mercado tiene para ofrecer, incluidas gorditas, tacos y fruta local fresca. ¡Nuestro recorrido continuará más allá de La Cruz mientras exploramos la historia alrededor de la Plaza de Armas y la Plaza Zenea, donde terminaremos el recorrido con el sabor de Oaxaca! ¡Conocerás a nuestros queridos vendedores y descubrirás por qué los adoramos y su comida! ¡Bienvenidos! Su recorrido comienza aquí. Su guía lo recibirá aquí cerca de la fuente con una taza de café de olla recién hecho en la Plaza de Los Fundadores frente al Templo La Cruz. Beba y disfrute mientras aprende sobre el significado histórico de la plaza y el Templo La Cruz. Nuestra caminata hacia el Centro comienza en este punto, así que venga con zapatos cómodos y con el estómago vacío.
Pase el viento y coma entre los bulliciosos puestos del mercado más famoso del Centro, el Mercado La Cruz. Disfrute de las vistas, los sonidos y los olores del corazón del mundo culinario del centro. Muchos de los ingredientes utilizados en la comida de este recorrido provienen de este mercado. ¡Asegúrate de tener tus cámaras listas ya que las fotografías son abundantes!
Exploraremos la hermosa arquitectura de los edificios de esta plaza y aprenderemos cómo comenzó aquí el nacimiento de la lucha por la independencia de México. También aprenderá sobre la historia de amor más famosa que tuvo lugar aquí y cómo se relaciona con la hazaña de ingeniería del acueducto de Querétaro.
Aquí haremos una breve parada donde conocerás este hermoso teatro y lo que lo convierte en un edificio importante en la historia de México.
Aquí aprenderemos sobre la estética única de esta plaza y por qué las glorietas son un elemento cultural importante que se encuentra en casi todos los pueblos mexicanos. I have been through a number of markets but never had the nerve to try any food. With Edgar at my side I became a little more brave and enjoyed the experience.

I had a fantastic time on my solo tour in the Centro! The experience was both informative and enjoyable, offering a unique perspective from a local's point of view. While visiting the city alone, I really appreciated having a friendly tour guide to show me around and introduce me to the area. I learned so much about the history of Querétaro and the delicious food I got to try. Fantastic tour of the local food scene! Edgar was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humour. We loved the insider tour of the Mercado, and it was delightful to stroll around Queretaro’s streets in between locations. Highly recommend for a window into Queretaro’s food traditions.

Guide David) was wonderful. His knowledge of local history added much to the tour in general.
Of the 8 days we spent in Querétaro, the half day we spent with David was the absolute best. Start your trip right and begin with this tour. David went above and beyond taking us to many (6 or more?) restaurants where we learned historical facts that added to the cultural depth of our experience. Then there was the food. One restaurant served mole chicken tamales that as I write this still make my mouth water and that was 3 weeks ago! They also serve roasted grasshoppers which my husband is still talking about, but I, ahem, avoided. There were so many rich, historic stops along our walk (which was very mild, by the way) I cannot remember them all. What stands out to me as the most glorious of our whole trip was El Mercado "La Cruz" where we squeezed into a narrow ledge amongst fresh flowers and mountains of mangos (the air smells of nectar), to eat the ABSOLUTE BEST TACOS IN THE WORLD. Okay. I exaggerate, but test me. Try Chamorro Tacos (beef shank) and then ladle on some pico and lime. Perfection. DAVID Herrera speaks great English. Our Spanish is passible but atrocious.
