Tour de un día por Braga y Guimaraes

Very good experience with Ana. The service was great. And our little Ares was very well taken care of, they even did more than they had to.

I had such a pleasant day with Beatriz and João. The tour was well organized, and will save a lot of time and hassles for transportation for you. I was super lucky that I was the only participant, but the tour operator honored the reservation, which I greatly appreciate. BTW, a big big thumb up for Beatriz especially. She was lovely person first and foremost, and also knowledgeable, sociable. She made the tour by far more memorable. Highly highly recommended.

I had a bit of a bad experience with Living Tours who you see all over Porto with shops and kiosks {they are in red}. Was given the wrong meeting point as has changed but brochuremaps not updated and some sellers not yet aware. Anyway walking down Rue das Flores and saw a travel agent / tour booking agent on left hand side of street. The lady was very patient with an elderly couple and went to great effort to make sure they understood everything. So this gave me confidence and went in to ask about tours and she provided details on the Yellow Bus Tours and with guides and buses being bright yellow should be easy to spot at meeting point which she went into great detail where it was and time to be there etc. So I booked the Braga and Guimaraes option. I got there the next morning and spot on time the bus arrived . The driver said hop in and pick any seat as you are the only one and he was phoning the guide to say he had found me and she was only couple minutes away. When she arrived Anna explained that even with one they will still run the tour. We still did the proper tour and as she said with a smaller group we can tailor it to suit . All I can say it was a great day and probably my favourite tour although I really enjoyed the others as well. If you book on the bus for subsequent tours you get a discount and I did the Aveiro and Costa Nova experience (again on this one only me the driver and the guide B } and the Douro Valley wine tour All in great company as the tours superb, lots information and the guides and drivers really go out of there way to make the experience memorable. I was so impressed that I asked for a couple of brochures and gave one to the hotel where I was staying at and brought one back to the UK to give to my local travel agent who I do most of my bookings with so they can let others know. Many thanks for the great memories and most of the 529 photos that took whilst in Portugal. 👍

Ana, our guide, has been wonderful, very good explanations, she accompanied us, answered our questions, and even bought us some cream pastries!!! Great experience, very happy. Highly recommended. Our driver Emanuel was very attentive and kind. Guimaraes and Braga are essential!!!

A fantastic visit to the cities of Braga and Guimarães with Clara and Emanuel. Guided tour and free time. Everything is well organized, and the time spent in each city is perfect. Thanks to them for this excursion.

We had a lovely day trip to the UNESCO site Bom Jesus, then Braga then Guimaraes. Our guide Bea was excellent and driver Emanuel was very good. A little more time at Bom Jesus would have been good.

A wonderful day; we had an initial problem, but they resolved it on the spot. Ana and Felipe were charming, always attentive to the group and very pleased with their explanations.

The Braga & Guimareas Heritage Tour is well worth experiencing if you wish to understand Portugues culture. Our tour guide, Clara, and driver, Emanuel, were both very helpful and knowledgable. I was utterly absorbed in listening to Clara's exposition of Portugues history. Guimaraes was particularly fascinating and Clara took the time to point out specific points of interest and confidently explain their significance. It was a marvelous day and one which I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful day with Ana exploring Braga and Guimaries. Ana was so interesting and personable . The day flew by , Ana had so many insights and facts about each town , she gave us time to explore on our own , I would not hesitate to spend a day exploring Porto or surrounding Porto with Ana she was a delight and a highlight of our six days in Porto . Jorge was a great driver !

Karine was an amazing guide, with a great knowledge of the history of Braga and Guimarães. We started our visit at the Bom Jesus sanctuary where we had free time to explore the church and the famous staircases. The medieval architecture can still be strongly seen in the city, making the tour a unique experience. The bus was very comfortable and we had a safe and peaceful trip thanks to Mr. Manuel.
