Disfrute de la excursión perfecta de medio día que termina con un agradable momento de relax en una hermosa playa. Tendrá la oportunidad de ver algunos de los edificios más históricos de Kingstown (la ciudad capital), Fort Charlotte y los Jardines Botánicos.

Itinerario
Nuestro recorrido comienza en la terminal de cruceros de Kingstown. Te llevaremos a través de nuestra capital, Kingstown. A medida que manejamos, se mostrará y se le dará información sobre algunos de los edificios más históricos, como la Estación Central de Policía, el Complejo Financiero, el Tribunal Supremo del Caribe Oriental y también nuestro Cenotafio.
Conduciremos a través de nuestra bulliciosa plaza del mercado donde muchos vendedores y agricultores que venden sus productos locales producen.
A medida que continuamos a través de nuestra ciudad capital, Kingstown, conduciremos por la calle de la iglesia o "calle trasera", como se llama localmente. Aquí se le mostrará y se le dará una breve historia sobre la iglesia metodista, así como la iglesia anglicana y católica romana.
Luego nos dirigiremos a Fort Charlotte. Fort Charlotte es una fortaleza de la época colonial británica, construida sobre una colina que domina el puerto y disfruta de una vista panorámica del lado de Sotavento de la isla, que incluye Kingstown, la isla Young, Bequia y también la famosa isla Mustique.
Después de nuestra parada en Fort Charlotte, nos uniremos a Leeward High, que ha sido rebautizada como Nelson Mandela Highway. Al pasar, verá el Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, el Victoria Park, un pequeño estadio al que también se conoce como Carnival City durante la temporada de Carnaval y luego nos dirigimos a los Jardines Botánicos, que es el jardín más antiguo de su tipo. en el hemisferio occidental
Luego, nuestro sitio final se encuentra en el lado de barlovento de San Vicente y será la hermosa y pintoresca playa de Villa. Take the botanical gardens tour with Antony when you arrive. He is amazing!
I loved the fact the lady who took us on the tour was early! We left at 0840 to meet her at pick up point and as we were leaving we had a call she was already there! We were due to meet at 0900. There were 3 of us on the route. She explained with humour and detail the history of the island. Drive safely through the narrow and hilly roads of st Vincent. First stop fort Charlotte. Chef the guide explained the history of a place that in parts made me feel uneasy who knows what the settlers did there. On to the botanical gardens which were sadly closed. So the tour changed and we went back to Kingstown explored the market and did a little shopping. Finally to paradise beach club. Could have missed that part to be honest but it was a good tour
Chef was a great your guide. She was very attentive to our wishes. When only 1 person of 6 wanted to go to the beach and only for a few minutes, she was quite willing to switch beaches so that the other 5 of us didn't have to pay for beach access that we wouldn't use. She told us a great deal about the island as she drove those narrow, steep roads so ably.
This was a great tour! Informative and interesting. Our tour guide was really terrific. The booking was changed because they couldn't make our last minute request work, so we reached for the next day via Whatsapp. This was super helpful because we had some othr things scheduled, and the tour company was able to tailor the tour to our needs. They even ended up dropping us off at the ferry terminal instead of back at the hotel which saved us time and a taxi fare.
Had a great tour with Dino yesterday (and with Shef for a short time). Dino"s driving skills (and, in particular, his clutch control up those hills) were brilliant!. Very informative anf enjoyable tour. The only reason we did not award 5 stars is that the beach resort that we visited at the end was ram jammed full. We were happy to stroll on the beach and have a drink in the coffee shop but those wanting a good beach expetience might be disappointed. Maybe find am alternative resort to take your guests if possible?
Many different varieties of trees, most labelled. Few flowers. Seats and benches to rest at. Toilet facilities available We didn't hire a guide, maybe we should have
We had a most enjoyable afternoon with Joel driving and Anthony at Fort Charlotte and a different Anthony in the stunning botanical gardens. Both men were very friendly and very knowledgable. Fabulous views from the fort and interesting history to learn. The gardens have trees from all over the world. There is a breadfruit tree descended from one planted by Captain Bligh. Anthony knew the history of every plant and is clearly a devoted caretaker. We also saw and heard the beautiful local parrot. Interesting afternoon including the drive there and back.

Very pleased with pickup and return to hotel with TopDawg Taxi. Suggest hiring your own private guide at the Gardens. Note that the Gardens does not take credit cards.
