Had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and we really enjoyed the music and drink options. Would definitely recommend.
A very relaxing cruise with views of the city and ports, a talented band, a festive atmosphere, and delicious free cocoa.
What a delight. The ambiance was perfect. Decorated with wreathes and garlands and light. A LOVELY jazz band played tasteful holiday tunes throughout the ride. The hot chocolate was DELICIOUS and unlimited! And they had a cool whipped cream dispenser for exceptionally yummy and fresh whipped cream. Coffee was also available for free, so we made a coffee-hot chocolate. So yummy. They also offer “spiked” hot chocolate from the bar. You can purchase special liquor combinations in fancy cups to then add to your hot chocolate as well. We got baileys and peppermint schnapps to add to ours which was also very good. Overall, it was a relaxing, cozy and fun boat cruise for this time of year. Here are some tips: 1)We went on the 3pm ride which I’d highly recommended. It’s an hour and a half and so we finished promptly at 4:30. The sun set at 4:22 so the lighting over the harbor was so perfect even with some haze in the sky. Plus once you exit, it’s perfect timing to head to your favorite spot for a dinner reservation. 2) Bring some small games! You’ll get an assigned table spot which I thought helped make it stress free. Our group brought small travel-sized versions of Bananagrams and Qwirkle to play on the ride. It was perfect! The games plus the music, hot chocolate, jazz music, and the peaceful ride in the harbor made such a perfect combination for a memorable afternoon.
We had a wonderful time on the Boston Holiday Cocoa Cruise! The whole vibe was so festive and relaxed, with amazing holiday music that really set the mood. The yacht itself was decorated beautifully, cozy, cheerful, and perfect for families. We mostly just had snacks, so I can’t speak much to the food, but the drinks were fantastic. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The highlight for us was definitely the view. The Boston skyline at night from the water is just breathtaking. I’d definitely recommend this cruise, It’s festive cheer, gorgeous scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Food was honestly so-so, but the drinks were absolutely delicious. The music was great, decor was beautiful, and staff were all obviously having a great time. The view and ride was amazing as well. Being able to step out onto the deck, even though it was cold, to get a perfect view of the skyline was amazing. Thanks for an unforgettable date!
Loved it! I was pleasantly surprised at how sweet and charming the ship was. The crew was lovely, cute decor, great band and just a really nice time. I didn't know what to expect and this exceeded my expectations. 90 minutes, of just relaxing and listening to the band, great scenery outside(we did the 3 pm cruise so plenty of daylight). Its hard to find things that my young adult children will enjoy, or even slow down long enough to participate in- but they liked this!
Karen, thank you for booking a cruise with us and taking some time to provide your valuable feedback. We are delighted to hear the ship's charm surprised you and that our crew, decor, and band created such a wonderful experience. It's especially meaningful that your young adult children were able to enjoy the journey with you. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again soon! - Classic Harbor Line Boston
Lots of holiday energy and sing-a-longs. Interactive singing and fun musical competitions with Ho-Ho-Ho’ing and tambourine clapping!
Fun & festive experience with the family! We did a 5:30 cruise and the view of the Boston skyline was beautiful at night. The yacht was very festive and cozy and the staff was very friendly. We had a wonderful time .
Our family booked this cruise on a trip to Boston. The boat was very festive, the music was fun, and the skyline beautiful. We paid for 5 seats and when we got to our assigned table there were only 4 chairs. We were seated at one half of a table with a glass divider between us and another family. I brought it up to the host at the front of the boat and someone ended up bringing us another chair but there wasn’t room due to a heater blocking the end of the table. We crammed in but it was not ideal. The communication about how to order food and drinks was non-existent. There was a small bar at the entry side of the room with 2 bartenders. We went directly to our table (rather than get directly in line at the bar) because we thought a server would come around (based on the advertised picture) BUT THERE ARE NO SERVERS. You have to order your food and ALL drinks at the bar and then someone does deliver it to your table. If I had known that then someone from our party would have gotten in the line for the bar right away. The hot cocoa bar was self-serve and by the time my 15 year old and I got up there, the whipped cream was out and there was no one around to inform. We made the most of it but I can’t give you 5 stars. I’ll go ahead and recommend it to a friend due to the Christmas cheer and the skyline but the communication and the table seating need improved.
Ann, thank you for booking a cruise with us and taking some time to provide your valuable feedback. We are happy to hear that you appreciated the festive atmosphere, music, and views, and we are sorry for the seating and communication issues you experienced. Information about bar service should certainly be provided at the beginning of the trip, so we will check in with our crews to make sure that is happening appropriately on all trips. We will also remind the crew to check in more frequently on supplies as we certainly do not want them to run out during our cruises. We appreciate your insights and hope to be able to provide you with a 5-star experience on another occasion! - Classic Harbor Line Boston
Relaxing, festive, and fun for the whole family. Perfect for my 12 and 16 year old but there were plenty of families there with much younger kids as well. We will be making this a Christmas tradition!
