If you get a chance don't miss going up in the Charles Bridge Tower, this is the one on the old town side. It is a lot of steps to the top but the view is worth it. We really enjoyed this.
Thank you for your great feedback! We're so glad you enjoyed the tower climb and the beautiful views from the top. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon!
Great views of the city. The guides inside the tower were helpful and informative!Totally recommend if you have the time!
Grateful for your positive feedback!
Definitely worth the walk up. The views over the bridge and all of Prague are fabulous from the tower. It was not crowded. In fact, I was one of four people so I had plenty of time to enjoy the view and take photos at my leisure.
Charles Bridge is very, very busy whereas the Tower is much less so,and therefore worth a visit. The stairs are steep, but the views of both the bridge and the city are well worth the climb. An unexpected delight.
Well worth a trip there in the evening if you can go up the tower it's worth the climb up the stairs but they are old thin and steep but the views makes it worth it looking out over the old town and new town up and down the river
Didn’t have the mobile guide and simple bought tickets while there. They open at 10am and between 10-11am tickets are half price - £5 each. Worth the money for views alone, you get to climb the whole way up the tower to look out from above. Lovely little museum with some interesting facts. In the basement there’s a strange video which at first I didn’t want to watch, but glad I did in the end as it was very interesting and told of all the folklore. Not for disable - didn’t see a lift however that doesn’t mean there wasn’t one so worth checking. The lifts in Prague seem to cost about 100 extra to use so they aren’t for everyone. I think about 5 floors up… lots of sets of half staircases so hard to work out. However there is a half way point you can sit down (office). Really enjoyed it and would recommend it. Also make sure you touch the bronze cross on the bridge and make a wish!
