We had a really good experience. We were picked up at the hotel for the agreed time by a very good taxi driver, who was also good at telling along the way. It took approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to get from Ubud to the venue. However, there was no introduction to snorkeling, which was unfortunate, especially since it was the first time for us. It is worth noting that there was an extra charge on site for having a guide in the water - something we had not asked for, and we could hear that the others in the group had not paid extra for it. All in all, it was a really nice experience, and it was nice to have a guide in the water.

Wonderful snorkeling experience for all ages. We were picked up from our hotel and brought to Padang Bai, where we hopped on board a small boat to visit the Blue Lagoon and Tanjung Jepun. Our snorkel guide was very helpful, and as we had young children with us he took really good care of them. We were able to see many beautiful fishes including parrot fishes, trumpet fishes etc and even spotted a turtle at the surface. The waters were really clear with beautiful corals visible. We were also served a delicious lunch of fried rice after the snorkel. It was a delightful experience.
