Exceptional tour!!! Took this tour to learn more about Civil Rights movement in Alabama and it didn't disappoint. Our guide Clay had enormous knowledge of that time period in American history and presented it in a very accessible way. He answered all our questions and gave us recommendations on the sources to further deepen our understanding of that time. Highly recommend!!!!!

I had Mike as my tour guide and he was great! The tour itself was great, a lot of good information from someone who lived and grew up in Birmingham during some of the time period we were covering. I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends when they visit.

This was well worth the money! Our tour guide knew the area very well and had many stories. We walked parks and neighborhoods getting the opportunity to feel what people went thru during these times. He kept it fun and exciting even my 2-14year old daughter enjoyed the tour. There was more info than just civil rights it is definitely history of the city.

Our guide was an expert on the subject of Birmingham and its troubled history around racial issues, and presented the history factually but also with humanity. We saw several important sites around the city, and when it made sense to let us have a moment to absorb what we had seen and heard, he did just that. Well done! I highly recommend.
