The bike tour certainly lived up to the hype! My husband and I loved our tour led by Roberto. Roberto is an amazing storyteller. He gives so much interesting context on Florence and the figures that make it what it is. The city really came to life for me as he pointed out not only historic sights bur also the tensions that arose between dueling families and competitive artists/thinkers. Most notably, Roberto is funny and engaging. And he is passionate about Florence.
If you're curious about this tour I can't recommend it enough. Roberto gave a really fun and engaging tour and gave us excellent recommendations for food and fun. We did it our first night and Florence and his recommendations have given us a new curiosity and excitement about the city. Florence is easily the one of the most beautiful cities in the world and this tour was an excellent introduction to it.
