We did the Tengeru village coffee tour as a day tour after our safari, and it turned out to be one of our favorite memories from our trip to Tanzania! The pickup and drop-off service was seamless and punctual as always. When we arrived in Tengeru village, the local guides welcomed us with big smiles and so much warm energy. The tour itself was super interesting and hands-on. We walked through the local organic coffee farm while our guide explained how the coffee plants grow and how the local community farms them. The best part was that we didn't just watch—we actually got to help shell, roast, and grind the coffee beans using traditional local tools, all while singing and laughing with the locals! At the end, we drank the fresh cup of coffee that we helped make ourselves, and it was honestly the best coffee we have ever tasted. We also had a delicious traditional local lunch prepared right there in the village. The local guides in Tengeru were top quality—so knowledgeable, open, and passionate about their home. You get to see real Tanzanian life away from standard tourist spots. We highly recommend this tour to any couple visiting Arusha
We enjoyed this trip well. It was a perfect day in Arusha, the coffee, waterfall and walking in Singisi Village were really good. Our guide was the best for telling us interesting facts about coffee from the farm, roasting and drinking a cup of hot coffee organic was fabulous. We are happy to book this trip and enjoyed so much.
We had such an amazing day visiting Singisi village just outside of Arusha! Our guide, Richard, was wonderful and made sure everything was smooth and enjoyable for our group. The tour started at a local coffee farm, which was so peaceful and green. We learned how coffee goes from the plant all the way to the cup. The best part was grinding and roasting the coffee beans ourselves, and then drinking the freshest coffee we have ever tasted! After the coffee experience, Richard took us on a beautiful hike through the village to the Singisi waterfall. The nature along the way was stunning, and reaching the fresh water at the waterfall was so refreshing. Richard was super friendly, patient, and explained everything in simple, clear language so everyone could understand. It was such a special experience to see authentic village life and nature. We highly recommend doing this tour with Richard!
We had a great day in Arusha with our tour guide, The coffee plantation farm was wonderful, we enjoyed the full experience, the cup of coffee was the best and excellent. This is the better tour to spend your time in Arusha.
The best coffee taste, very happy people, and the farm taste of coffee was the best part of the tour. Is my top thing to do in Arusha.
It was wonderful to visit the Tengeru village with the guide, a very well organized and amazing place. The guide Daniel was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Daniel provides a lot of information about the coffee and best walking around the village. On the way back there was a little quiz, he was very happy when we responded to all our questions. A must tour if you will visit Arusha!
It has a reason to be a special and unique tour, we enjoyed all parts of our tour with our guide, he's an expert coffee. He knows everything related to his farm especially coffee. He loved the questions from us so much and allowed us to ask and we were very interested in his sense of humor. I cannot recommend them enough, just do it without asking twice.
This was absolutely the best trip in Arusha, no rush at all the guide is very patient and answered all our questions about this tour and his willingness to share so many interesting facts about the tribes of Tanzania. Definitely recommended.
We love to try the coffee everywhere we travel and after our trip to Kilimanjaro our tour company gave us an offer to taste the coffee. We went to a small village near Arusha town and we met the best coffee guide who told us all about the organic coffee of Tanzania. He showed us the entire process of making a cup of coffee with smooth details. For coffee lovers this is a great experience to do.
We enjoyed the coffee tour and waterfall visit with Dani, he's a very knowledgeable and experienced farmer and local guide in the village, we learn by visiting the coffee farm, we grind in a local way, we roast and drink the coffee. It was perfect for us and we cannot recommend it enough. Thanks so much for Dani.
