¡Será un placer darle la bienvenida a Rodas! Únase a nosotros en este tour privado de medio día y visite los principales puntos destacados de la ciudad de Rodas y el hermoso pueblo blanco de Lindos. Recorra la hermosa costa este de Rodas y descubra su rica historia y belleza. Tendrá la oportunidad de visitar el puerto de Mandraki y el área donde una vez estuvo el Coloso de Rodas. Luego caminarás por la antigua Acrópolis de Rodas. Después de eso, continuaremos por la costa este de la isla y llegaremos al tradicional pueblo blanco de Lindos, a 50 km. Tendrá más de 1 hora de estadía para explorarlo y visitar la hermosa Acrópolis en la cima, que es la segunda Acrópolis más popular de Grecia después del Partenón de Atenas. Comenzaremos nuestro recorrido con un recorrido por las murallas del casco antiguo de Rodas, la ciudad medieval habitada más grande de Europa. Fue construido en 1300 a partir de los caballeros de la orden de San Juan. La ciudad medieval de Rodas está inscrita en la Lista de sitios del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO. Si lo desea, podemos extender la duración del recorrido con 1 hora y también puede tener algo de tiempo libre para recorrer el casco antiguo y explorarlo por su cuenta.
El puerto de Mandraki está situado en la parte nueva de la ciudad, donde verá algunos edificios monumentales muy impresionantes construidos por los italianos. Aquí, en la entrada del puerto, se cree que una vez estuvo la gran estatua del Coloso de Rodas, una de las siete maravillas del mundo antiguo. Nos detendremos para tomar fotos de la zona.
La Iglesia de la Anunciación en Rodas es la iglesia ortodoxa más grande de la ciudad con hermosas pinturas hechas a mano en las paredes y espectaculares candelabros.
Una vez que lleguemos a Monthe Smith Hill, disfrutará de excepcionales vistas panorámicas de la ciudad y la costa, y también visitará las ruinas del Templo de Apolo, el impresionante Estadio al aire libre y el Anfiteatro.
Poco antes de llegar al hermoso pueblo tradicional de Lindos, su conductor lo detendrá en un lugar para disfrutar de una fantástica vista panorámica del pueblo junto con su Acrópolis en la parte superior. Después de eso, te dejaremos en la entrada principal del pueblo. Tendrá al menos 1 hora y media para explorarla y, por supuesto, visitar su famosa Acrópolis. El conductor te esperará en el lugar exacto en que te dejó.
La Acrópolis de Lindos es la segunda acrópolis más popular de Grecia después del Partenón de Atenas. Fue construido sobre una roca escarpada de 116 metros de altura que domina el Mar Azul y el pueblo de Lindos. La Acrópolis está dominada por el templo masivo de Atenea Lindia, que data del siglo IV y alcanzó su forma final en alrededor del 300 a.

We had a wonderful day on Rhodes island. We were picked up at the cruise port in a very comfortable vehicle. Our guide, Aga, was very informative and provided us with lots of information on the history of the island and current life on the island. We started from the cruise port and made a photo stop at Rhodes old town. After several stops at different viewpoints we visited the Rhodes acropolis and then drove to Lindos. We stopped for refreshments and took lively photos of Lindos and the Lindos acropolis. The visit to Savvas pottery was also very informative and pleasant. The return trip to Rhodes along the coast was very interesting. We could see all the developments and tourist places. Our guide knew where to take us to miss the crowds. The tour ended in Rhodes old town where we had free time. We left the island feeling that we made the best of a one day visit. All thanks to our informative guide.

We had an absolutely fabulous private driving tour of Rhodes yesterday, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Our guide, Nikolas, is a lifelong local — born and raised on Rhodes — and it showed. His knowledge of the island was incredible, and he had endless stories and information to share about the history, culture, and hidden corners of the island. We accidentally went to the wrong meeting point at the start, but Ellie was super responsive and helpful, and Nikolas came to pick us up within five minutes of us reaching out. It set the tone for a day where nothing was a problem. Since we were staying a bit further out, we adjusted the itinerary slightly to fit in a few extra sights, and Nikolas was completely flexible about it. The real highlight was when he ended up driving us through his own village — completely off the planned itinerary — because we kept asking questions about it. We got to see some incredible UNESCO sites tucked away there that we never would have found on our own. This was such a personal, authentic experience rather than a typical tour. Nikolas clearly loves sharing his island with visitors, and it made all the difference. We’d do this again in a heartbeat and would recommend this company to absolutely anyone visiting Rhodes.

Nikolas was a phenomenal guide!! Can’t say enough great things about the day… We accidentally met at the wrong meeting point & Ellie kindly coordinated with Nikolas to pick us up at the alternative location within 5 minutes. We had a fabulous day exploring the best of Rhodes. This tour more than met our expectations. Our tour guide, Mr. Aga was excellent. The tour took us from the city of Rhodes through the town of Old of Rhodes to Lindos and back to our cruise ship. Mr. Aga’s knowledge of the whole area was impressive. He also knew the cultural history, historical history and the sites to take us to. We saw the exact point where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Aegean from a high hill at the top of Rhodes. It was an incredible site to see. I am mobility impaired, and Mr. Aga took this into consideration at every every site we stopped at. He was very aware of this and made accommodations for me. He stopped for lunch at a place that was not a tourist area. The food was excellent. The prices were reasonable. We would highly recommend this tour as there is no way we could’ve seen all the things we were able to see on our own in the time allotted by our cruise stop.
