Recorre las coloridas calles coloniales de Granada, navega entre las famosas 365 Isletas de Granada sobre el Lago Cocibolca, el lago más grande de Centroamérica, disfruta de las impresionantes vistas desde el Mirador de Catarina y contempla el majestuoso cráter activo del Volcán Masaya. A lo largo del recorrido, nuestros apasionados guías locales compartirán contigo la historia, cultura y tradiciones que hacen de Nicaragua un país tan especial, permitiéndote conocer cada destino de una forma cercana, auténtica y memorable. Daremos un paseo caminando por los alrededores de la Plaza Principal de la ciudad de Granada, donde veremos la majestuosa e histórica catedral de Granada Nuestra Señora de Asunción, si ese dia la Iglesia esta abierta podremos pagar 1 dolar por persona para ir a las campanas y ver desde arriba el hermoso centro de Granada, hecharemos un vistazo al pequeño mercado de artesanías, las comidas típicas de la ciudad y la hermosa gente que lo rodea. Caminaremos hacia la iglesia quemada La Merced donde el guía te llenará de información sobre la historia de cada iglesia y lugar el cual es gratis la admisión. Por último tendremos un tour educativo y dinámico en el famoso Museo del Chocolate donde tendremos un Tour gratis acerca de como y para que se utilizaba el cacao antes.
Luego que disfrutemos la ciudad, iremos al majestuoso lago Cocibolca o lago de Nicaragua, una enorme extensión de agua llena de muchas especies de peces y el popular tiburón Toro, único tiburón de agua dulce en el mundo. Tomaremos un bote y Sabremos como se formaron las 365 islas y conoceremos cada una de ellas entre las más populares como las 2 Islas del Mono, el Fuerte san Pablo donde Sarparemos a Combatir contra el Capitan Morgan y la mejor vista hacia el volcán Mombacho. Tendremos al mejor capitán y con música Nicaragüense de fondo.
El Puerto de Granada, lugar donde sale el barco hacia las Islas de Ometepe, y donde anteriormente fue de donde partía el tren, con el mejor restaurante en Granada en el piso de arriba con la mejor vista hacia el lago y el Volcán Mombacho, en donde podremos comer y beber agradablemente si así lo desean.
El mercado de artesanías más grande de Centro América donde los comerciantes trabajan con sus manos y delicadamente cada adorno, silla, maca, todo lo que puedas imaginarte con un trabajo de calidad y con la cultura que caracteriza a Nicaragua. El mejor lugar para comprar tus recuerdos.
Este Mirador ofrece una espectacular vista a la Laguna de Apoyo, Un crater que anteriormente fue un volcan, que hoy es un Impresionante crater de agua o Laguna en donde la Maravillosa vista nos permite apreciar su ecosistema y a la par el impresionante volcan Mombacho de Granada, Hay diferentes tipos de actividades como la Tirolesa y el Paseo a Caballo
Disfruta del Crater Activo del Volcán Masaya, su museo y un pequeño sendero donde podrás observar donde la tierra respira.

Granada + San Juan + playa popoyo~ I had booked a separate tour through getyourguide and the tour operator messaged me to confirm booking. I also asked him if there were any customized tours he can arrange for me for 1 free day i had and wanted to visit granada+ san juan+ playa popoyo. He gave me options, pricing, time duration, weather updates and i chose from it and it was confirmed within hours. Very fast, efficient replies from Jordan. Anthony was my tour guide. He is one of the best guides i have met while on my solo trips. He is very knowledgeable with history of Nicaragua and has a passion for not only his work but also his nation and it reflects in his experiences for clients. We started from managua, drove to granada first to see one of the best colonial towns. It's rich in culture, architecture and vibes. Also thanks to Anthony because he is patient and very accomodating of people's request, be it viewing specific spots, finding best food places, taking a million photos for you(even if it's annoying, he does it with a smile), or any other things you want to do, you can make a request and surely he will find a solution for it, if it's possible. From Granada we drove to san juan, very beautiful town, lucky to have had good sunny weather and see the statue, and views of beach from top. We had o rush from there to popoyo because i wanted to catch sunset, and anthonyyy being the great driver he is, made it happen. We reached just in time to catch the last bit of sunset, verh beautiful. Note: the entrance tickets you have to pay separately outside of booking, so please carry cash(preferably) or most places take credit/debit too. 🙃 If you are travelling solo or with friends or even family, please book with this agency and they will help you with any questions. 100/10 best experience. Tony was very quick in moving things and friendly. This trip is good if you are a small group or solo and wants to get things done quickly. Islets were nice and so was the Granada Town. Wait for the Masaya volcano, was the only flaw, but Tony got there first after the gate open and was able to take good pics
A wonderful introduction to Nicaragua! It was both a structure tour, but it also had some flexibility. We got to see Granada downtown as well as visit a few churches and climb a bell tower for great panoramic views. This was followed by a tour of a chocolate museum, a boat ride on Lake Nicaragua, a spontaneous visit to a cigar shop to try Nicaraguan cigars, a visit to a panoramic viewpoint at apoyo lagoon, and finished the day visiting the masaya volcano crater My guide was Marvin and he was an excellent guide who made sure we were comfortable and offered great conversation. Overall highly recommend both this tour and the guide Marvin!
