Este edificio de 1895 ha visto un incendio en 1933, bombas y agujeros de bala en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, y una renovación completa por Norman Forster. Ahora es la sede del Parlamento alemán.
Este es el monumento más famoso de Berlín y probablemente de Alemania. Napoleón, Hitler, Reagan, todos han venido aquí sabiendo que este lugar tiene un significado especial.
Este es el lugar central de duelo y recuerdo de los seis millones de judíos asesinados durante el Holocausto.
Después de ser "tierra de nadie" durante décadas, junto al Muro de Berlín, esta plaza se ha convertido una vez más en uno de los cruces más concurridos de Berlín.

Ku-Damm, como se le suele llamar, es el bulevar más largo del mundo. Encontrará muchas tiendas de lujo, cafés, restaurantes, teatros y, por supuesto, la Iglesia Memorial al final.
La Iglesia Memorial, que originalmente recordaba al emperador Wilhelm I, es ahora una ruina de guerra, flanqueada por una iglesia moderna construida por Egon Eiermann.
Esta es la tienda por departamentos más grande de Europa continental, y quizás sea la más lujosa.
La Isla de los Museos es Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO e incluye el Museo Neues (con Nefertiti en el interior) y el Museo de Pérgamo (con la Puerta de Ishtar en el interior).

Thomas was prompt and an excellent driver. He gave us much knowledge of the history of the area and good photo stops. Due to a special event in the area, he had to adjust the itinerary and navigate around the event. Overall, we had an excellent morning out.

Fabulous tour of Berlin with our guide Thomas Frys. It’s great having a guide with a car as we were able to cover such a large part of the city in the time allocated. We always do a private tour on the first day of our trip, as it’s a great way to orientate ourselves and get tips and recommendations from the guide. Thomas was extremely enthusiastic and hugely knowledgeable about Berlin and its history. It was exactly what we wanted and more!
