Itinerario

Can't recommend. We had a very pleasant three hour walk through Berlin but not the experience we requested. In advance of the tour, I used the City Unscripted message board to ask for a focus on history, architecture and art on the route between Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz - essentially the standard group tourist route but with a more personalised experience - as I'd been to Berlin several times over the years but my partner hadn't. Our guide was a lovely person and a good walking companion but we learned very little about the history and sites of the city. Other specialised tour experiences we had made up for that in part, but I feel like we really missed out and would've learned more in a larger group - at a fraction of the cost. If you do consider booking this, I can only recommend you make sure the person proposed as your guide has the qualifications to make your experience the one you expect, whether it be in history or art or anything else.
Hello Jon, We're truly sorry to hear that your experience didn't live up to your expectations. While we're glad you enjoyed your guide's company and found them to be a pleasant walking companion, we understand how disappointing it must have been when the experience didn't reflect the interests you had shared in advance. Our goal is to create personalized experiences that are shaped around each guest's interests. Your comments are incredibly valuable and have been shared with our team. We'll use your feedback to improve how we match guests with hosts and ensure that pre-tour preferences are better communicated and incorporated into future experiences. We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to learn from your experience, and we hope we'll have the chance to welcome you back and provide the personalized experience you originally expected. Warm regards, Sheenah and the City Unscripted team.
Juan was very accommodating—meeting us at our hotel and then organizing a thorough overview of Berlin highlights. He shared several Hidden Gems and recommended future sights and restaurants to try. He adjusted tour for our pace.
We're delighted to hear you enjoyed such a personalized introduction to Berlin. It’s wonderful to know the experience combined the city's highlights with hidden gems, local recommendations, and a pace that felt just right for you. Thank you for sharing your kind feedback — we're so glad this was such a memorable part of your visit.
Our tour guide Nick did an awesome job. We asked him to try to focus on and show us places that would NOT be on a tour we would take the next day about the 3rd Reich. He really lived up to the request and we saw many cool things and learned so much from him. Definitely a 5 out 5 stars!
We’re delighted to hear that Nick provided such a great experience and was able to tailor the tour to your interests. Thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you again on another experience soon!
Bridget was very knowledgeable and flexible. We under estimated Berlin’s size and amount of sightseeing. Regardless, Bridget remained energetic and thorough throughout a sizable tour! Thank you Bridget for sharing the city with us!
We’re so glad that Bridget’s knowledge, flexibility, and energy helped make your Berlin experience so enjoyable, even with the city’s incredible size and abundance of sights to explore. Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! Thank you again for choosing City Unscripted, and we hope to assist you again in your future travels!
Loulia completely customized the tour to my interests, finding ways to blend history, nature and cool off the beaten path parts of Berlin. We had an awesome adventure with Natalia, our private tour guide. Not only did she take the time to understand our interests and preferences, but she also put together a masterful itinerary tailored just for us. From sharing the history of the Brandenburg Gate to guiding us through the beautiful scenery and vibrant atmosphere of the Hackeschen Courtyards, every moment was memorable. She even introduced us to currywurst! It was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend Natalia to anyone visiting the city!
We’re thrilled to hear that Natalia crafted a personalized tour that highlighted both the history and vibrant culture of Berlin, from the Brandenburg Gate to the Hackeschen Courtyards. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back for another memorable adventure in the future.
Mark was an excellent raconteur of history of Berlin during WWII. I liked how he brought us into the story and led us through the sites and events of wartime. Mark is extremely knowledgeable.
We’re delighted to hear your Berlin experience with Mark was so engaging and insightful! It’s wonderful that his storytelling and deep historical knowledge brought the city’s WWII history to life. Thank you for your kind feedback!
Wonderful visit of Berlin with our guide Nataly! She was knowledgeable and organised a fantastic tour!
We’re so happy to hear you had a wonderful time exploring Berlin with Nataly! It’s great that her knowledge and organization made the tour such an enjoyable experience. Thank you for your kind feedback!
Our guide Natalia helped us see three different faces of Berlin (as she has been still discovering for herself and clearly falling in love with it) - beginning with the formal (governmental) district moving on to the history certainly immersing into the tragic events of the WWII, evidence (or better say - memory) of which one may easily find in abundance in the streets of Berlin (and on its buildings), and finally visiting Shpandau - an art district where the free spirit of Berlin wanders at large and makes itself seen through the impressive display of graffities (really nice ones), wall paintings, art shops with handcrafted art objects. I guess for some people a better focused tour could work better but for our (and our 13 years old daughter's) 1st visit / acquaintance with the city it was a perfect format. Even though it might be a standard route but it did not feel like following a crowd but instead looked more like a walk with an old friend who has happened to move to Berlin and is happy to show you around. Maybe the fact that Natalia is a native Russian also contributed to the atmosphere as we could easily communicate using common language. All in all it was a positive experience for us and I would gladly recommend this tour for a 1st time visitors to Berlin.
We’re thrilled to hear your first visit to Berlin with Natalia was such a meaningful and well-rounded experience! It’s wonderful that her knowledge, warmth, and personal touch made exploring the city’s history, art, and spirit feel like a walk with a friend. Thank you for your thoughtful and heartfelt feedback
Nataly was absolutely wonderful! She brought a binder with pictures which really helped us learn what areas looked like before compared to now. We asked for her to tailor it for us—highlights in 3 hours. It included a lovely mixture of history, culture, architecture and we dropped us at a wonderful pub to experience true delicacies!
We’re delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your time with Nataly! It’s wonderful that her thoughtful touches, from the picture binder to the tailored mix of highlights, gave you such a rich and memorable experience. Thank you for your kind words!
