Lara was a great tour guide. She was patient and very knowledgeable about the monastery. She gave us ample time to walk around and it was just wonderful.
The tour was perfect! We were able to enter through the tour company entrance which saved us so much time waiting out in the hot sun. Neil was a wonderful tour guide who explained the history of the Monastery and Lisbon. Having a guide is a must I can’t imagine going there without one.
Our tour with Anildo was terrific! He was extremely knowledgeable and highly recommend this tour. It is definitely worth your while to go with a tour and skip the lines as it was extremely warm and sunny in May.
Excellent knowledgable guide
Very informative small group tour of discovery monument and st. Jerome monastery guide was we’re. Informed but a slight accent and the blue headsets were static probed. Monastery was great to visit at and of the day when crowds thinned. We were last group out. It felt like a very private tour. .
Very knowledgeable and engaging
Tour with Anildo was excellent. He texted before arrival and was on time. He had loads of information and stories to share, answered all our questions, had a sense of humour and was personable. We could not have asked for a better guide
Had an outstanding tour with Anildo today. He messaged us before the tour and was on time. He had an amazing amount of information to share, had a sense of humor and was very personable. Would highly recommend!
Rita was lovely and knowledgeable. She guided our family of four through the monastery, church, and other major sights with both efficiency and patience (for our photo moments and endless questions). We love history and she delivered, providing loads of background and context, explaining so many details about the monastery decorations. She even had an umbrella for us when we needed one! Highly recommend.
Wonderful! Well knowledge guide, very attentive of our needs. Highly recommended tour to avoid lines. You will have a better understand of the history and the culture of this country.
