We just returned from first day of our trip and we had wonderful time! Our guide Aurora was amazing - she had great knowledge about history and places we visited. Nothing was too hard and she was helping with all our issues- thanks to her we were able to have fun even though the heat was brutal that day . Thank you so much again and hope to see you again during our next Beijing trip !

I was visiting Beijing for a long weekend and had Lucy and a driver take me around and show me the highlights of Beijing. I found the tour to be informative and really flexible in terms of the pace I wanted to travel and history of each of the sites. While we were not able to visit the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square due to being closed for preparations for the 70th anniversary parade, Lucy was more than accomodating in taking me to other sights around Beijing and some local treasures. This was our first visit to Beijing, and we only had two days to explore the city. This tour has exceeded our expectations! Our guide for the two days was Lucy and we couldn't ask for a better guide. Lucy was knowledgeable. well informed and attentive to our needs. The driver was also always on time and very considerate. We had two amazing days in Beijing where we were able to explore the major highlights of the city. I would definitely book more tours with them whenever I revisit China.

The two-day Private Beijing Tour is a perfect way to really experience Beijing, and to learn about it’s fascinating history and rich culture. We experienced both the “tourist” and “local” sides of this great city. We had the good fortune of having Lucy as our guide on this visit. We had a great experience mainly due to our guide, Lucy, who presented us all the historic facts and exotic details along the way, in good English, and with a lot of patience as none of us (7 people) were English natives. She was flexible to make adjustments in the daily schedule according to our group rhythm, and helpful all the time. She also avoided us to fall into shopping traps, and took us to really nice Chinese food restaurants. I would do it again.

Can’t say enough about this tour and the perfect tourist guide that we had. It includes all the main tourist points you need to visit in Beijing, with wonderful stops for topical Chinese food for lunch! Lucy, our turistas guide, was simply AMAZING! So kind, helpful, worried about pleasing the whole group and keeping us together among the crowd, always happy and polite! We loved her!!! Ask for her when you call in for a tour!

This is my second time using Discover Beijing Tours and will continue to use them and refer them to friends and family. We had an amazing time with Lucy, our tour guide, who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and made sure that we enjoyed our trip. We had an incredible 2-Day tour with our guide Lucy in Beijing. Lucy speaks great English and has a great knowledge of the History of China. Day 1 we visited The Great Wall and Summer Palace. The trip included a scenic trip to the Great Wall by van. Then a short walk, bus ride and ski lift to the top. After amazing views of the Wall we rode the cowboy coaster down to the bottom. What fun. Lunch was provided afterward at a local restaurant. The trip concluded with a visit to the Summer Palace and back to the Hotel. Day 2. Lucy promptly picked us up at our hotel and we visited Tianemen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven. Lunch was provided again with the most delicious Chinese lunch. We had a great time and Lucy was the best tour guide we have had in many years. I would highly recommend requesting her as she is a 5 star tour guide.
