We absolutely loved having Andy touring us around to all the beautiful historic sites plus of course all the famous Beatles stops/buildings!! My husband is a Beatles superfan and he and Andy had many great conversations about all things Beatles. Highly recommend from first time travelers-GA, USA.
Very good walking tour. The guide spoke loudly and clearly and had lots of interesting details about the Beatles that he shared. He was very careful to keep all of us together at road crossings and on the tube. I would do this tour again.
The guide was SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE and very enthusiastic. We went to lots of interesting places like Triton Studios, current Apple building, where John and Yoko met and the club where many famous musicians, including Elton John, played. Abbey Road crossing was so anticlimactic. Nothing to do with the guide, it just was. It was a LONG walk. Over 2 hrs. The Abbey Road shop at the end was actually the best thing for me (and I am not really a shopper). It was a good tour if you are really into the Beatles ans their history in London. The guide was definitely good.
If you are a Beatle’s fan, then this tour is a must! Richard is highly knowledgeable about the Beatles. Not only is he a super fan, but he is also an author and has written books about the Beatles. We bought one at the end and he autographed it for us. It was very enjoyable and informative.
Group too large in my opinion. Wish I knew to bring water. Guide was very knowledgable. Learned alot
Hi Lisa,. Thank you for your review. I agree the group was too big - it was twice the average size for the time of year. We have had a rush of bookings since it was announced that 3 Savile Row is to become an official Beatles tourist attraction. We have already taken steps to put a cap on numbers on tours. It was a very hot day too! I would always advise carrying water on such hot days. all the best Richard Porter
Amazing experience Richard was very knowledgeable and gave a fabulous tour. The amount of knowledge was incredible
Great tour, very informative. The only feedback I would give is to build bathroom breaks (at least one!) into the tour. Other than that, it was wonderful.
Good walking tour, you do also need to take the tube to get to Abbey Road. The studio itself is not open to the public. Our guide was good but walked ahead too quickly and did not check back to see if everyone was able to keep up, some could not walk that quickly.
Our 2nd time doing this walking tour, and it was great! The guide is informative and loves the Beatles! Great walking tour, you’ll hear and see places with tons of Beatles history.
This was a great and very informative Beatles tour. Richard who was our guide knew so much about the Beatles and he made the whole your enjoyable.
