Es el primer lago que se encuentra en la ruta. Aunque no siempre se detienen en él, es uno de los primeros paisajes que los viajeros aprecian en el recorrido.
Este lago se destaca por sus aguas cristalinas, y su vista es increíble, especialmente desde el puente que cruza sobre el río Correntoso, que conecta este lago con el Lago Espejo.

English speakers I might be aware of this tour. I booked a tour for a Thursday, and due to a technical glitch I was rescheduled for monday. As I understood it my booking was for an English tour but Monday did not have English and there was no update or discussion about that so when we got to detour the tour guide told us you know that this is a spanish-speaking dominant tour I will not be repeating everything for you I'll make sure we can you know to talk to you and tell you where you need to go but not repeating stuff so that's where we were left. And I understand there was no way you could repeat everything because he used every single moment to talk about the lakes and what they meant and I understood from some of my other tours that the things he was saying I probably have heard before. My Spanish is not great but I do have some understanding and I can follow along but my husband cannot. It was a beautiful drive and the lakes do not disappoint you we had many opportunities to get on and off the bus and without that glitch of being on a spanish-speaking tour with no English speaking translation and we would have taken a recording but there wasn't anything available. Also the guy Ricardo seem to be angry with us for coming to his tour and we got picked up first in the morning and we were early we were waiting to be picked up but it seemed like he blamed us for being late? He seemed to warm up to us later but he kept on giving us bad directions and if we had taken them on their face we might have been left in San Martin, oh that was just funny! So again my recommendation is to make sure you're on an English speaking tour with this particular company they do not have any way to accommodate you on a Spanish speaking tour but if you're just there for the sites you might want it and you have short amount of time like I did you might want to just go ahead and take the tour the lakes are beautiful!
