Vive dos de los mercados más famosos de Tailandia en un solo día inolvidable. Tras reunirte con tu guía en Bangkok, viaja a Ratchaburi para visitar el Mercado Flotante Damnoen Saduak, activo desde hace más de 150 años. Disfruta de un paseo en lancha por canales rodeados de casas y vegetación, observando vendedores que ofrecen frutas, snacks y artesanías desde sus botes. Recorre el mercado a pie, prueba productos locales y sumérgete en su ambiente vibrante. Luego, visita el Mercado del Tren en Mae Klong, ubicado sobre vías activas. Pasea entre puestos de frutas y especialidades tailandesas y presencia el impresionante momento en que el tren pasa a pocos centímetros de los comerciantes. Durante el recorrido, el guía compartirá información sobre la historia y tradiciones locales. Regreso a Bangkok con recuerdos únicos. Opciones privadas o en grupo disponibles. La visita al mercado flotante y al mercado ferroviario se puede intercambiar, adaptándose a los horarios de los trenes.

Saldremos de la ciudad de Bangkok y viajaremos por carretera durante aproximadamente 1.5h. hasta llegar al pueblecito Mae Klong para conocer el mercado del tren.
Aquí tomaremos una típica embarcación en bote para dirigirnos al mercado recorriendo los canales (klongs en tailandés). Seremos testigos de cómo los lugareños compran y venden de barca en barca cualquier cosa que te puedas imaginar, especias, frutas y verduras, artesanía, souvenirs… Dispondrás de tiempo libre para recorrer entramadas callejuelas, saborear los productos típicos, curiosear por los aledaños y disfrutar a tu aire de este fantástico lugar antes de regresar a la vibrante Bangkok.
En el Damnoen Saduak Floating Market podrás ver un tradicional mercado flotante donde los vendedores locales ofrecen frutas frescas, comida típica y artesanías desde pequeñas embarcaciones. Durante el recorrido, vas a disfrutar de un ambiente lleno de color y movimiento, conocer un poco de la vida cotidiana en Tailandia y tomar fotos únicas de los canales llenos de botes y cultura local.
Seguidamente, continuamos nuestro recorrido hacia la provincia tailandesa de Ratchaburi para visitar el mercado ferroviario.

Este peculiar y tradicional mercado, único en el mundo, es un verdadero espectáculo. Contemplar cómo los puestos de productos locales montan y desmontan a cada paso de tren, acompañado por el ajetreo de sus visitantes, los aromas, y el gran colorido del lugar, convertirán la visita en una experiencia inolvidable.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Se le informará de la hora de recogida el día antes del tour. Asegúrate de informar al proveedor de tu hotel con tiempo suficiente. Espera en la entrada principal del hotel 15 minutos antes de la recogida. Este servicio es grupal, la demora puede oscilar entre 5 y 15 minutos. El servicio de pick up es únicamente en inglés.

Jenny the tour guide was amazing but the train ride could have happened on the bus. Hella hot for no reason. We only got to spend 10 mins at the train station couldn't really shop. The floating market was better but them old ladies be aggressive. Tiger bomb lady wasn't trying to let me leave. I was like I don't want it, it stank.

Our tour guide Tammy was excellent and was great with our children. She had a quick Thai language lesson prepared for the ride to the markets. We learned a lot and got to experience the famous railroad market. She reserved seats for us at a soda / coffee shop that was within inches of the train!

Jenny, our tour guide, is a superstar. She really took care of us. She got us a good view of the train at the Maeklong Railway Market. The Floating Market was too faraway from Bangkok, the Canoe shopping experience was too short considering the time travel in the bus ! the prices are higher compared to other shopping centres in Thailand. The Railway Market is a must visit place in Bangkok even it is very crowded still an exceptional destination, specially when it was announced that train is approaching and shoppers must move their belongings away , tourists should mind the gab and turn back behind the red line. Sam the Guide, made our day with his sense of humour, his knowledge and ability to tell the history in a funny way, his passion and his generosity.

This was a great day trip out of the city to see the floating market and train market! We were taken on a large tour bus with wonderful A/C to keep us cool. Our guide, Sam, was so nice and gave us a lot of information about Thailand and their culture. The markets are definitely for tourists, but such a cool thing to see. I highly recommend doing this if you come to Bangkok!
