Tour al olivar de Balestrate: cata de vino y aceite de oliva

Francesco and his family gave us an extraordinary experience. It couldn't have been more perfect. My mom, older sister and I came from Puerto Rico to celebrate their birthdays and booked this experience last minute because of the good reviews and it has been the highlight of our trip. Worth every penny. Him and his family are lovely and amazing people. The quality of Francescos products are outstanding and DELICIOUS. 20/10 definitely recommend

Our tour with Franchesco was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip. The wine and olive grove experience was authentic, welcoming, and incredibly enjoyable. We loved tasting both the delicious olive oils and the excellent wines while learning about how they’re produced. What made the experience truly special was meeting Franchesco’s parents and grandparents. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like welcomed guests rather than tourists, and it gave us a genuine glimpse into their family’s traditions and way of life. If you’re looking for an authentic, family-run wine and olive grove tour, I couldn’t recommend this experience more highly. Thank you, Franchesco and family, for such a memorable day!

This tour was absolutely amazing. Walking through the historic olive groves in Balestrate and learning about the production from such a passionate local family was incredibly special. The tasting was fantastic. We loved the incredible olive oil, local wines, and traditional foods prepared by the family, as well as the balsamic vinegar and homemade limoncello. It felt so authentic and welcoming. If you are anywhere near Palermo, you absolutely have to book this!

This experience started with a tour of the olive groves and learning how Francesco and his family harvest and make olive oil but the real treat was going to Francesco’s grandparents house. We enjoyed a light lunch while trying all the wonderful products Francesco and his family make. Everything was delicious! Having his adorable grandparents join us and talk to us was the real treat. What a delightful family.

The experience was hands down one of the best of the entire vacation. I am not sure how the family managaes to be so welcoming and loving to so many people. You honestly believe these are your friends who have invited you over to see their love of Olive oil and Sicily and their home!!! It is very hard to put into words just how special this experience is. I walked away feeling very lucky to have had the time we did with this family. Everything was also delicious!!

Such a lovely experience, Francesso has thought about everything, knowledgable tour round the olive grove, including other plants a long the tour, the tasting at his grandparents house is homey welcoming with wonderful olive oil, balsamic, wine and limoncello. Can not recommend this enough.

Starting family business with Francesco and his sister, grandparents. It felt like coming home, after the tour went to their house where we did the tasting of wine, olive oil, balsamic and Limoncello. However, the easiest thing to do is to go by car because he will pick you up at an agreed place and then go to the olive garden. Everything was just right with clear good explanations.
