Trip was cancelled by provider with no notice until we arrived for the trip in Ketchikan.

Disappointing as no prior notice of cancellation received

Zodiac through pristine bay

Our family of four did this excursion booked thru our cruise. The whole experience was seamless and delightful. We had an amazing bald eagle sighting. Very fun to drive your own zodiac. Guide was low key in a good way. I have no negative feedback at all.

Adventuring when wet

Amazing experience even though rain was pelting our faces on trip back! Shout out to fantastic transporter, Tom, and Zodiac guide, Emily...both 5 Stars!

Great weather, good times, so much beauty

This company is great!! Very well organized and friendly staff. Love both of their tours but Zodiacs are so much fun to navigate on the water. Their merchandise is also top notch, love their logo. Mary Ann was a great tour guide and we had some incredible weather. Highly recommend going with this company anytime rain or shine

Great experience in Ketchikan

We had a beautiful day to explore the area. Hayden, our guide, was very helpful spotting wildlife. We saw a bear, seals and eagles. We really enjoyed the cannery tour.

Fun excursion on a short port day!

We were on an Alaskan cruise with first stop in Ketchikan, but only had a few hours off the boat. I pre booked this zodiac boat tour and I’m so glad I did! The tour drives you from port down to the cannery (about 15/20min), where you take a small walk around to get to the zodiac boats. They offer wet gear if you need it, but we had a sunny day so we just opted for the mandatory lifejackets. I was the boat driver for my family and I was a littler nervous at first, but it was very easy! Just adjusting the throttle to keep pace and steering. In terms of the tour itself, our guide was Marianne and she was very sweet! We loved hearing from all the seasonal workers on our port days, where they came from and why they love coming back to Alaska. Marianne took us around on the water, it was us and 2 other boats with couples. We saw seals (who were very curious and followed us for a bit), got to interact with Walter the bald eagle, and overall just saw some really beautiful landscapes! The only slight bummer is that as we were heading back to the cannery, two people in our boat saw a bear but we were unable to stop/go back as a group to view it, so some missed out. But I understand they have a schedule to keep to and it is what it is! It was only the start of the season when we went in May, but over the next few weeks groups will have better chances of seeing bears, whales, etc. After the tour you got to pick a flight of soda, beer, or wine and noble on some snacks (cheese, crackers, and reindeer sausage I believe). After that finishes up, they drive you back to the docks, but in our case the driver was kind enough to let us off at creek street so we could explore before heading back. Overall we had a great time on this excursion! The operations were smooth and safe, and it was so cool to go boating around in Alaska! Would definitely recommend.

Thank you for spending part of your day in Ketchikan with us! We're so glad you got comfortable at the helm and had a chance to meet some curious seals, see Walter, and explore the beauty of the area with Marianne. And yes, the bear timing can be frustrating sometimes—wildlife loves to keep us guessing! 😊 Thanks again for the recommendation, and we're happy to hear the tour was a memorable part of your Alaska cruise.

Naming whales

6 stars if we could. Our guide, Emily, was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better day: pristine wilderness, harbor seals, bald eagles and the bonus of watching 2 humpback whales right off the dock while we enjoyed our after tour snack. I’m pretty sure my wife named one of the whales after our guide. Highly recommend.

"6 stars if we could" might be one of our favorite reviews yet—thank you! We're so glad you had such an incredible day with Emily. Between the seals, eagles, pristine scenery, and a pair of humpbacks showing up during the post-tour snack, it sounds like Alaska really delivered. And if one of those whales is now officially named Emily, we're sure she'd be honored. 😊

Loved it!

Marianne was an amazing guide for our zodiac trip. We saw an amazing bald eagle, beautiful scenery and even caught some air during our trip on the zodiac boats. It was so fun and I would definitely do it again!

Thank you for the review! It sounds like Marianne managed to check all the boxes—eagles, great scenery, and just enough speed to get the Zodiac bouncing across the water. 😊

Wonderful Excursion!

Amazing tour! We went as a family of 4 and had a wonderful time. The guides and staff were fantastic. Exploring the coves was so much fun on the Zodiak boats. We saw Eagles, seals and a bear and cub. So much fun. Their equipment was in great shape and they had everything you could need.

Thank you for the wonderful review! Seeing a bear and cub on the same trip as eagles and seals is a pretty special day on the water. We're glad your family had such a great time exploring the coves and that you felt well taken care of by our crew. It's also great to hear the gear and boats helped make the experience comfortable and worry-free. Thanks for spending part of your Alaska adventure with us—we're thrilled you had so much fun!

Great experience

From the moment Chris picked us up pier we had a blast. He made the trip to the location seem short with very interesting local facts and jokes. We were met by a welcoming staff to get us geared up for Zodiac rides. The boats were in great shape and functioned properly. There was no question that the vessels and gear we were issued were well taken care of. Emily was our guide and she took great care to ensure we had a great trip. Weather wasn't great but she made the best of it by adjusting plans to keep us out of it. The food and drinks at the end were great and overall really enjoyed this experience. Would definitely do it again and would recommend it for others.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review! It sounds like the adventure started before you even got to the boats. Chris has a knack for making the ride fly by with local stories and a few well-timed jokes, and we're glad he got your day off to a great start. We'll be sure to share your kind words with Emily as well. Weather in Southeast Alaska doesn't always cooperate, but great guides know how to adapt, and we're happy to hear she helped make the most of the conditions. We're also glad you noticed the care our team puts into maintaining the boats and gear. Thank you for joining us, and we're thrilled to hear you'd do it all over again!
