Avistamiento de Ballenas y Delfines en la Isla Terceira

A few days ago, we had a whale watching tour with Water4fun and were thrilled. The tour was excellently organized and the entire crew was very friendly and professional. We were particularly impressed by the crew's extensive knowledge about the whales and their way of life. All information was conveyed in an exciting and understandable manner, so we learned a lot of new things. What we also really liked was the respectful treatment of the animals. The boat always maintained the required distance from the whales, so the animals were not disturbed. It was clear that the well-being of the animals is the top priority here. We can wholeheartedly recommend Water4fun and would book a tour with them again at any time. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience!

Amazing experience. We were able to see dolphins and whales.

We saw several species, whales and dolphins, but the ordinary dolphins were adorable, walked very close to the boat.

The checkin is well organized. Gi, the guide, provided a waterproof jacket and comfortable life vest . Although a couple was missing, we were taken to the boat. Gi waited a few extra minutes and let us all know. They did arrive and we began. The spotters did a great job guiding the captain to sightings. We saw a variety of dolphins and fin whales. The boat was in excellent condition and even had a restroom, if needed. All in all a great adventure.

We had such a great time on our outing. Paola and the captain were both great - we saw humpback whales and 3 species of dolphins - very close! It was amazing & our family loved it!

From the check-in moment to the return to the harbor, everything was simply perfect. The Water4fun team conveys incredible energy, always welcoming, professional and super attentive to every person on board. It is clear that they do this with passion and not just work. Before we left, they gave a very interesting explanation about the marine species of Terceira Island and the importance of preserving the oceans, which made the experience even more special. During the journey, they were constantly vigilant to ensure everyone could see the animals and even helped to take fantastic photographs. We were lucky to see several groups of dolphins swimming by the boat, some so close that it looked like a documentary scene! The most exciting point was the appearance of a giant whale right in front of us — a completely regrettable and unforgettable moment. Another detail I loved was the care of the crew with the comfort of the passengers. There was always concern for safety, clear explanations, good disposition and even small games that made the environment light and fun. The boat was impeccable and the whole organization was exemplary. In the end, we feel that we did not pay for just one tour, but for a unique memory for a lifetime. Undoubtedly one of the best experiences I have ever had in the Azores. I recommend 200% to anyone who visits Terceira Island. It's worth every second!
