Cefalonia es una hermosa isla del Jónico conocida por su cultura del vino. Un recorrido enológico en Cefalonia es una excelente manera de explorar los viñedos y bodegas en las laderas del monte Ainos y más allá. Aprenderá todo sobre la famosa uva "Robola" introducida por los venecianos y cómo se utiliza para elaborar vinos únicos de Cefalonia. El recorrido estará dirigido por guías expertos en vinos que le brindarán todo el conocimiento y experiencia que necesita, sobre una serie de excelentes vinos y la forma correcta de catarlos. Recorra las bodegas de cada finca vinícola y siga el proceso de producción desde la cosecha de las uvas hasta la maduración del vino. Camine con su guía por uno de los viñedos de montaña de la finca y disfrute de entre 12 y 15 variedades diferentes de vino de la isla, incluidos Robola y Mavrodaphne locales. También se incluyen bocadillos como aceitunas, pan y queso. También podrá disfrutar del pintoresco paisaje de la isla mientras saborea algunos de los mejores vinos que Cefalonia tiene para ofrecer.

Gentilini es una pequeña bodega boutique de gestión familiar que produce vinos únicos, interesantes y de alta calidad al tiempo que promueve los sabores y aromas únicos de las variedades locales de Cefalonia. Fue la primera bodega boutique de Grecia y ahora produce una gama completa de vinos finos únicos que se exportan a todo el mundo. Se le ofrecerá un recorrido completo por la bodega y los viñedos, seguido de una cata de vinos acompañada de un plato de bocadillos y el aceite de oliva virgen extra del Retreat.
Visite un moderno complejo de bodegas que combina armoniosamente lo antiguo (una instalación tradicional que data del siglo XVI) con modernas instalaciones de producción de vino. Divino se ubica en el solar de la antigua bodega familiar rehabilitada como zona de exposición/museo con vinoteca, instalaciones restauradas para la elaboración de vinos de paja y la nueva bodega de alta tecnología, equipada para elaborar vinos de calidad con respetando las características naturales y requerimientos especiales de cada variedad de uva. Hoy la capacidad de producción anual es de 100.000 botellas. Los 12 vinos y las 3 variedades excepcionales de vinagre producidos satisfacen todos los gustos y satisfarán todos los paladares.
En el corazón de la zona vitivinícola de Robola, decenas de enólogos de Omala y sus alrededores crearon la Cooperativa Vitivinícola Robola de Cefalonia en 1982, en un intento de proteger y promover el potencial del viñedo de Cefalonia. La nueva cooperativa vitivinícola griega, formada por 300 miembros, recibe el 80% de Robolas de la zona de Denominación de Origen. Bajo su nuevo nombre, “OREALIOS GAEA”, inspirado en un terruño poco común y un paisaje natural impresionante, la Cooperativa marca el inicio de una nueva era, con actividades y prácticas enológicas que respetan la tradición local y al mismo tiempo elevan el nivel del arte enológico.

Si te alojas en Lixouri y deseas asistir a esta excursión, recojo es en el puerto de Argostoli. Para este tour, el servicio de recogida no está disponible en los pueblos de Agia Efimia, Sami, Fiscardo y Assos debido a su ubicación fuera de nuestras zonas de recogida designadas.

Fantastic day out. The wines were surprisingly good, certainly removed all preconceptions of Greek wine. The oldest winery was awesome with plenty of history of the island pre 1953 earthquake thrown in. Great to meet Jack. We will certainly go on this tour again

This is one of the best tours we've ever booked on a holiday! It is so easy to book online. Pickup at our accommodation confirmed quickly when I emailed them. Our tour guide Katerina was so good. Passionate about Kefalonia. So welcoming to guests. She had so much enthusiasm and knowledge about the island and its history and, of course, about wine. We were a group of 12 staying around different resorts. The first winery we tasted 6 wines. All were really good. I even bought a bottle of the rose and I never drink or buy rose at home. The second winery we were led through 10 wines by Katerina herself and we all had so much fun tasting the wines together. We also tasted olive oil and a special vinegar. At the third winery, we tried 5 or 6 wines and were given a tour about wine production. We would book this tour again without hesitation.

The Kefalonia Wine Adventure was an excellent trip. A full day spent with our wonderful guide, Katerina, whose passion for Kefalonia was so interesting and heart warming. We were chauffeured throughout the morning and afternoon to three different wineries by our professional driver, George, where we learned about the wine culture of the island. We also learned about the famous Robola grape introduced by the Venetians. We were given all the knowledge and expertise to properly enjoy a wine tasting. All three wineries were great, but different and we thoroughly enjoyed learning each winery’s harvest and production process. We tasted various wines at each winery and enjoyed meze of breads, oils, cheeses and other wonderful nibbles with people from all over the world. Such fun conversations flowing at each tasting. We bought 3 bottles of wine and a bottle of balsamic vinegar with honey. If you enjoy wines, this is a must do adventure.

The whole experience was excellent. Georgia was very helpful with information when initially booking the trip and Katarina and George were our very hospitable host and driver on the day. We had the best time, met a lovely group of people and our tour guide was great, there was 6 in our group so it was quite interesting finding out about each other and everyone’s take on the wine we was tasting. We visited 3 wineries and a boutique. Each winery was special in its own way, but my favourite was Divino Winery/Museum this had a lot of history and the wine was amazing, it’s what i imagined wine tasting would be.
We prioritize our wine adventures to truly provide an authentic wine-tasting experience! We are beyond delighted you truly enjoyed this excursion with us!
First winery visit the best, second very interesting but only liked 2 wines out of ten also no available WCs Third winery was good but very rushed Host Catherine was amazing and made sure we got a toilet stop after second winery
