Neil was an amazing tour guide and so knowledgeable about anything you had questions for. Very welcoming and kind. The tube tour was 100% worth it, with the jungle walk and the immersion into the cave and the exploring the cave and exiting to finish with a relaxing float. Then the lunch was a traditional Belize home cooked meal, so delicious! Thank you for making our experience here in Belize one to remember and unbelizeable hehe ☺️💕
The tour itself was fantastic, the caves should not be missed, however, the tour group, Belize Family Adventure, not so good. They arrived two hours late without explanation or apology. We later found out that they had double booked a tour in the morning to overlap with ours. Super poor planning without notification. I hope this is a one time glitch for them, but I personally would not book with them again.
This tubing adventure through the cave was truly amazing. Our guide, Izzy went above and beyond! He is so very knowledgeable. We are in our 70s and he push us to the max and we LOVED IT! The hike up was pretty easy and the tubing was awesome but with Izzy guiding us and explaining and pointing out everything as we coasted through. He was very patient with me and for that I am grateful If a
This was SO much fun. We loved swimming around in the cave and learning about its history. Our guide Angel was great! We really enjoyed him. The walk to put in was about 40 minutes, and pretty flat, we had to carry our own tubes, which wasn't hard at all, just putting it for info. Wear water shoes that are comfortable to walk in and probably ones with backstraps, there are rentals available near put in. It was nice to not have to be in a huge group. We saw some bats, toucans and other birds on the river. Lunch was delicious and we had a little time to look at the souvenir shops around. We did see a few coatimundi in the parking lot area which was fun! Bring your own towel! We had some time to dry on the sun cause other people in our group zip lined. But we would have been pretty damp still!
Our tour was absolutely phenomenal! On top of being a blast, Marvin, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and patient. I was travelling with my husband, father (70’s) and my 4 year-old and Marvin took the time to answer all of our questions and waited for our dawdling son on the walk. He let us go at our own pace, and was very informative about the area, history and wildlife. Lunch was a wonderful Belizean dish. It was excellent, and a generous portion. I would highly, highly recommend this tour. I can’t say enough good things about it.
Marvin was an AMAZING guide! We were so lucky to have him. He took us through 5 caves and never rushed us through. He would take us to different swim areas and jump off rocks. He gave a lot of great information about the caves and even had us turn off our lights through some caves to get the full effect. He truly made our experience, one that we will remember for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend requesting him as your guide as well. The lunch food was great and he even gave us great tips and locations to visit during our stay.
Very well organized as an activity! Angel is a highly educated experience guide offering historical and cultural information throughout the activities, which enriches the experience. It was very pleasant!
Belize Cave Tubing is a fantastic experience and a great adventure for families. The journey to the caves is just as memorable as the tubing itself, with a beautiful hike that takes you across the river and through the jungle before reaching the cave entrance. Definitely come prepared: water shoes or Keens are highly recommended since it’s a combination of hiking and water, and a water shirt is helpful for comfort. You’ll also want a waterproof phone case that can hang around your neck—otherwise, you can purchase one on site for about $15–$25. There are changing rooms attached to the restroom facilities, which makes it easy to change afterward. Be sure to bring towels and dry clothes. There’s also a great picnic spot nearby, making it perfect for lunch either before or after your tubing adventure. The caves themselves are stunning, with beautiful water, impressive formations, and plenty of wildlife along the way. It’s a relaxing yet exciting experience and one we’d absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Belize.
Amazing experience, not to be be missed you want a fun relaxing and adventurous soak down a river through some exciting caves. Our guide was great, and allowed those who wanted to do some extra adventjuring such and squeezing through tight spaces and jumping from the rock formations into the deep water
Angel was the absolute best tour guide. He was very informative and made sure everyone in the group had fun. We went through a few caves and walked through the jungle. It was more than just tubing. The best part is he made us a home made meal afterwards. It was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to book! Angel is hands down the best tour guide we have ever had!!
