El faro de Armenistis (Faros Armenistis), construido en 1891, se mantiene en silencio como un homenaje a la rica historia marítima de la isla de Mykonos y sigue siendo plenamente funcional en la actualidad. Su posición estratégica ofrece vistas panorámicas de los alrededores y merece la pena visitarlo para hacerse una idea de la fascinante historia de la isla y disfrutar de su espectacular belleza.
Su ubicación en el lado norte de la isla ha convertido a la playa en un paraíso para los amantes del windsurf, ya que casi siempre sopla un viento fuerte. Ftelia es un lugar aislado, muy tranquilo e incluso durante los concurridos meses de julio y agosto en Mykonos no hay mucha gente porque suele haber bastante viento y polvo.
El tranquilo pueblo del interior de Ano Mera alberga el monasterio restaurado del siglo XVI Panagia Tourliani, que alberga iconos sagrados y pinturas en un complejo encalado con un impresionante campanario y una fuente de mármol. Las panaderías, tabernas y cafés con terrazas al aire libre en estrechas calles adoquinadas tienen un ambiente rústico y elegante. Los senderos para caminar conducen al paisaje circundante de colinas rocosas y hasta las playas cercanas.
Kalafatis en Mykonos es una de las playas más hermosas de la isla, donde la arena dorada y las aguas cristalinas crean un paisaje idílico. Es una gran playa de arena dorada y aguas cristalinas que configuran un entorno de ensueño. Algunos árboles ofrecen sombra natural y frescura a los huéspedes.
Agios Ioannis en Mykonos es considerada la playa más hermosa de la costa suroeste de la isla y cuenta con arena suave y aguas azules cristalinas que son ideales para nadar y bucear. My wife and I had an incredible experience on this ATV sunset tour and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Mykonos. Our guide Georgio was amazing from start to finish—friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun to be around. He shared interesting history and local insights at each stop, giving us a real appreciation for the island beyond the typical tourist spots. He took us to the most beautiful viewpoints where we could see Mykonos from every angle and watch the sunset! My tour guide Giorgio was well mannered and provided a great experience whislt touring the Mykonos island. He explained the history and background of each landmark we stopped at which really gave a unique understanding of the Greek culture, adding to the experience.
