La recogida está incluida para alojamientos dentro del centro de La Fortuna y la zona principal de hoteles. This was an educational and fun tour. Easy walk for my 84 year old mom, and interesting for any age. Danny was our guide, and he did a great job of explaining the local history. We learned a lot about the basics of chocolate and coffee via explanation and through demonstrations. Especially fun that we got to taste the various chocolates! Thank you Danny for making this tour memorable.
Our whole family loved this tour! Manny was fantastic, super patient and great with the kids that were in our group. We learned so much, and the demonstrations were great. My only critique is that we were definitely expecting more chocolate tastings on the tour, but they did offer those in the gift shop.
Today, my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of taking the Coffee and Chocolate Tour at NorthFields, and we absolutely loved it! We started by learning about the chocolate-making process and gradually made our way through different types of chocolate, tasting each one along the way. We then did the same with the coffee, learning about its process and getting to experience different flavors and varieties. A special mention to Dani, who was an absolutely fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The tour lasted around 2.5 hours, and we truly believe it was well worth it. It was a great experience from beginning to end. Thank you so much to the entire NorthFields team, and especially to Dani, for making this such a memorable experience!
This tour exceeded my expectations. We saw and tried the fruit to the bar and different coffee drinks. The chocolate was delicious and it was interesting to try the different % next to each other. The guide was fun and I highly recommend.
Dan was our guide and he is funny, friendly and knowledgeable. The tour taught me so much about chocolate, coffee and sugarcane. The tour was so delicious! I made sure to bring coffee and chocolate back home with me.
Such a fun and informative experience! Our tour guide Pablo was very knowledgeable about the coffee and chocolate process. He answered all of our questions and was very friendly. This was a great excursion for a rainy afternoon, if anything, the rain made the experience better! The tour offers many opportunities to sample coffee and chocolate at different stages in the process which was very cool. This tour is perfect for anyone, even those who don’t like coffee or chocolate! Had a wonderful time!
Great time visiting the plantation. They picked me up at my hotel that is on the list and took me back after. Valerie was wonderful. Did a great job explaining all the processes and how the coffee and cacao are made. About 15 people in the group and about a 2 hour visit with a little walking but lots of stops to rest and sample and learn. Highly recommend this tour.
This tour was quite satisfactory, it exceeded the expectations with which we arrived. Our guide Valeria made the experience something super digestible and pleasant, super cultured, providing super interesting facts, and perfect for questioning many things and similarities with our country of origin, Mexico, all this always without losing her sense of humor and making jokes in the process. We recommend this tour 100%, we tasted a lot of chocolate and coffee! Delicious

The Northfield Cafe Chocolate & Coffee Tour in La Fortuna is an absolute must-visit for anyone in the area. We had an amazingly beautiful experience yesterday where enjoyment and learning came together perfectly. During the tour, you get to witness the entire process up close. Watching the coffee beans being roasted and experiencing the difference between the first and second crack firsthand is incredibly impressive. Naturally, there was plenty of tasting along the way, and all the delicious treats made the experience complete. Our guide Esteban (or Stefan) was absolute top-tier. He shared his extensive knowledge with immense passion, explained everything clearly, and ensured that everyone could see and follow along easily. While the price tag is a bit on the higher side, this experience is worth every single penny. Afterward, you can browse the gorgeous souvenir shop to take home some wonderful memories.
