Magdalena was a lovely and knowledgeable host. I loved the ice cream dumpling but most of all was visiting 16er Wurstelstand where Thomas gave us a very entertaining introduction to great street food. I went back a few days later for more. 😀
Maria was a phenomenal tour guide! We enjoyed the entire experience. I wish we had made a stop at the Vollpension cafe instead of Tichy. Overall, it was wonderful and would highly recommend.
Maria was excellent in introducing us to different types of food throughout Vienna. She gave us great historical and city facts and the choice of places was real and authentic. This is a great way to see and experience the city. We Highly recommend Maria and this tour.
This was an excellent tour, experiencing some amazing food and learning from local providers such as Thomas. Maria was brilliant and took time to explain exactly where we were and in relation to other parts of the city and took into account the needs of those in the group.
Go hungry, you will leave stuffed. Absolute wonderful experience. Learned many wonderful facts and how to use all of the transportation in city. Book this trip your first day.
Best tour for the first day. Yummy food!
This was a great way to experience Vienna! The guide, Maria, was incredible. It was a small group (about 8 people) so it was easy to get to know everyone. Maria took us on public transportation to many different districts, away from the more touristy parts of the city. That made it feel more authentic. We had pastries, coffee, sausage, schnitzel, spaetzel, ice cream, beer, wine, and schnapps! The food was delicious! This is a great way to spend the first day in Vienna, because now I feel very confident to use the metro to get around and see more places. Thanks!
This is a MUST!! My 20, 18 & 16 year olds all told me afterwards, “Mom, 10/10. Great pick!” High praise indeed from my crew. Maria was a terrific tour guide! So knowledgeable, patient and kind. Vienna is lucky to have her as an ambassador!
We had a great time walking and taking public transportation on our private tour with Cristoph. Our son has a nut allergy which was not an issue at any of the stops. We ate enough food to skip dinner in the evening. Christoph was a wealth of information. Thank you for a wonderful tour.
We had a private 5 hour food tour with Christoph and our expectations were way beyond exceeded! He took us to a traditional Viennese coffee house and explained the coffee culture of the city. As Americans who tend to drink huge cups of coffee quite quickly, it was so relaxing to savor one cup of coffee and a piece of kardinalschnitte while not looking at our phones. Then the fun began because Christoph took us on the U-Bahn to a bakery only known by locals for the most delicious doughnut ever. Another train & then tram trip and we were at an open air food market watching locals buys their produce, then stopping at a Biergarten for amazing pork schnitzel and potato salad. Last stop was our favorite - street food. We are foodies & hands down this was the BEST pork belly we have ever had. What we loved as much as the food was the opportunity to experience different neighborhoods of Vienna and become comfortable with their public transportation system so that we could use it on our own. Fantastic tour!!
