Alex was wonderful! Loved the pearls he shared about the city! We were not big eaters and the boys in group preferred beer over wine and he was very accommodating. Thank you Alex!
Thanks Dawn!
Rafa was an excellent guide. We were the only people on the tour. Great selection of drinks and food. Also catered for my gluten free needs
That’s great to hear, thanks a lot!
Typical spanish food Very good local experience, perfect historical background and actual policy made an extraordinary experience for us.
Thank you Andrea, happy to hear you enjoyed it!!
We were a larger than usual group (10) but Alex managed the tour brilliantly. We had five different stops on the route tasting a variety of tapas and drinks. Alex also told us about some of the history of Valencia and he was happy to answer any questions. A really fun few hours exploring this beautiful city.
Thanks so much for your enthusiasm Anne, we also really enjoyed doing the tour with you! Hope to see you again some day! :)
We had a wonderful tour with Maria. She was so easy to spend a few hours with. She introduced us to local food, and drinks as well as the history of the area and important local architecture. We would definitely recommend doing this tour.
Thanks Christine, happy to hear you enjoyed it!
Delicious tastes with a good sense of Valencia. I highly recommend the tour as we had a lovely experience and enjoyed all the stops. We specially enjoyed learning about vermut and the history of the city.
Great to hear that Liliana, we also enjoyed doing the tour with you!
Alex was an excellent guide who takes you on a very relaxed walk through some cool eateries. Very enjoyable and our group were really nice too.
Thanks for your nice review, good to see you enjoyed our tour!
We had a fantastic day with Alex on our Valencia Food Tour. We were extremely lucky to be the only two people on the tour, so really had a personal experience. Not only was the food and drink delicious, Alex was very knowledgeable about the history of Valencia. Truly worth it!!!!
That's great to hear Isa, we are really happy to read such a positive feedback. Thank you!!
Alex was a very good and informative host, we learned a lot about Valencia and especially about its cuisine. Foods and drinks were great (well, maybe the quantity could have been a bit better :-)) We did enjoy ourselves. Thanks, Alex!
Thank you for your kind words! Hope to see you again some day :)
A few weeks before our trip the guide asked us to change the date to 2 days earlier. We were able to make changes to accommodate that - then a few days before he asked to change the start time to earlier. 11 am seemed early to start eating tapas but we agreed. When we met the group the guide seemed distracted, moved quickly, and was hard to follow through some of the crowded areas. I had to ask him to face the group when he spoke so we could hear him. This should be called an alcohol tour with tapas because he had us starting with a vermouth tasting at 11 am. There was a lot of wine with small portions of tapas. The last stop was a pitcher of Aqua de Valencia which was great, but no food to balance the quantity of alcohol. Overall the guide provided interesting historical. Information and some interesting restaurants for tapas, including the Central Market. The cost seemed high, though, for what we received.
Thank you Margo for your feedback. We are looking into it and of course taking it seriously to make sure that for future tours this will be improved.
