This tour was amazing!! Jack was the best guide, he spoke very good English and he taught us a lot about Vietnam, its culture, religion, farming and Vietnamese way of life. We loved having a private tour and the highlight was a motorbike tour through rice fields and a dragon fruit farm, and lunch prepared by a local family and eaten in their house overlooking rice paddies. We even got to sample the owners home made rice wine liquors made with banana, jam fruit and even cobra!! We highly recommend Jack and this tour.
Thank you, Jerry, for giving us such a wonderful day discovering Vietnamese culture! It truly felt like a family outing. We enjoyed a delicious lunch together with authentic local dishes. Highly recommended!
We went on the tour with Hien. He was absolutely fantastic! Great English and full of information and great sense of humor. A comfortable van, great boat rides, a walk through the family fruit farms, coconut candy making shop, and a great lunch too! We learned so much and had a great time! We are pretty picky about our tours and he was the best! Highly recommend!
It was a lovely experience, got in touch with real meking delta way of living. Have not met any tourist during motorcycle and boat trip. Had excelent home cooked meal with family. Highly recommended!
Long did amazing work guiding us threw the different stages of the trip. Everything was incredible well organized. We had no waiting times and no stress because it was so well put together. We even had enough stops to drink/ eat/ WC. Absolutely a must do!
We loved this tour! Duc (David) was super great with our 5yo. They accommodated a last minute change in pick up location. Duc chatted all things culture on the drive out to the Mekong Delta, spoke 4 languages, and was an overall great person to spend 10 hours with. We also loved the variety of stops, length of time at each, etc. Moto bike and candy factory were our favorite parts! Definitely recommend. Thanks guys!
We had a great tour with an excellent, knowledgeable guide. It was very fun to see the Mekong in its local form. We heard about it via my cousin and decided to drop a few items as we weren’t interested in those and it was very easy to adjust the itinerary. Thanks Jerry!
Being in Ho Chi Minh City for roughly a week it was clear for our group of 5 (couple in their 30's, brother + parents) that we wanted to visit the Mekong Delta. We browsed for a long time online where most reviews (even of well rated one's) concluded that 1-day tours are mostly tourist traps - until I have found this tour. The beautifully written review linked below is what made us book the tour and our experience was pretty much 1:1 as described, even the guide (Jerry) & driver (Tom) were the same incredible duo that has hosted us for an amazing day. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g293925-d15567220-r992195438-Private_Authentic_Mekong_River_Full_Day_Trip_Non_Touristic_Mekong_delta-Ho_Chi_.html
Mr. Duc was a fantastic guide who took us I tithe world of southern Vietnam where we got to experience life away from the city exploring the rice paddies and fruit plantations there. Lunch with a local family at their house was a highlight! Get out of the city and see real life in Vietnam. You won’t regret it.
This is worth every penny - the experience was amazing and personalized - felt like a friend showing you around and picking the best places - and the meal was soooo good!
