I can’t thank my guide Isabel enough for taking such excellent care of me and leading me safely to the summit. She knew exactly what to do because she is very experienced, and helped me out whenever I had a complaint or pain (such as cold fingers). Our driver Freddy was also very nice and friendly. The stop in the market on the way to the mountain was a great addition, giving me the opportunity to buy any sundries I might have forgotten. For what I paid, it was a really great value.
This was an amazing experience! The tour left on time from the Easy Way Tours office. They wrote to me on WhatsApp the day before to tell me what to expect, what to bring, and share the itinerary. The guide, Isabel, was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and answered alot of our questions about animals, the mountains, other things to do in Bolivia, and shared a lot of information about Bolivian culture. Also, we were taking somewhat of a slow pace and she was very patient and helpful when things got difficult. The driver, Freddy, was also amazing. They were both very friendly and I had a great time chatting with them in the car ride. The hike was quite difficult, as you would expect with an altitude of 5350 meters, but is was very rewarding. I highly recommend. Thanks to Easy Way Tours, Isabel, and Freddy!
Pico Austria hike was difficult, but insanely beautiful. I used Easy Way Tours and was very happy with their service. The guide was great, she knew the area really well and managed situation well once the squall started. They also took care of high-protein lunch, which was delicious. The time was managed very well, recommended!
Mind-blowing views throughout the hike, but the summit is a perfect 360 view that takes your breath away! It took me 7 hours to hike up and down the 850 m from 4500 to 5350m but Victor, one of our two guides, was really supportive! I did not feel pressured and could go my own pace. Lunch was wonderful! It is a full and tiring day, but totally worth it! Highly recommend!
I have traveled 61 countries but today has been the best experience I have ever had. The sheer beauty of this place is impossible to put into words. It took about 3 and a half hours to reach the summit and it is a workout but worth it. Our guide Patricia was patient and supportive and although she makes this climb several times a week you saw her love for this place. You will really appreciate whit a world far from pollution and politics looks like. I could go on forevermore but please do this trip but know it is a workouts To top of this climb was the fact that we saw three condors
Very well organized, super experienced guide who could answer all questions and took good care of the group. Good food at the summit! Recommended
The experience by itself is strenuous. But it is a good way to see how your body behaves in the altitude. Mine didn’t do that well… Our guide was great and always had some motivational words. So it was also due to him that we reached the summit. Despite some clouds, the views were great.
Super fast and easy communication. The tour was stunning with a lovely guide (Pescasa). The food she prepared was delicious. Also, we got all the needed equipment without surcharge. Especially the sleeping bag was super warm.
We had the most amazing experience climbing Peak Austria with Easy Way today. It was very affordable in comparison to other tours and we got the best guide Rudy. He has been guiding Peak Austria for 8 years, his English is perfect, he is also kind and very knowledgeable. It took us 3 hours in total to climb (including 50min to the second lagoon) and 2 hours to come down. We could not have done this without a guide! This is not your average easy hike. It is challenging but doable if you are acclimatised. We are not mountain hikers and could do it ok. Really recommend this tour it was a highlight of Bolivia and one of the most memorable experiences of our lives.
The agency hasn't contacted me. It was only on my repeated request that I was informed that the tour did not take place at all, less than 24 hours before the start.
