An experienced and reliable teacher who earns the trust of the kids.
Antonio was very patient and correct with the children (8y and 12y) and taught them as beginners in small groups. They experienced his surfing lessons very well and were excited about their result after 5 lessons! A very reliable instructor with a lot of experience and punctual on the appointments! Attaches great importance to safety, and therefore always checks the location with the best conditions the evening before. Highly recommended!

My first surfing experience
For the first time in my life, I went surfing. The coaching was excellent. On my very first day, I was able to stand up! I felt safe, made fun and learned a lot. I would sincerely recommend these guys! My two boys and I had a blast! Sofie

Amazing experience at west surf project
We had a fantastic experience with West Surf Project. The lessons are well-structured and gradually build up, which really helps in gaining confidence on the board.
What impressed us the most is how they take the time to consider each child individually. The trainers are incredibly kind and make sure every child feels comfortable and supported. It's such a child-friendly environment, and the instructors are patient and encouraging.
Highly recommend this surf school for a fun and safe surfing experience!

Great experience at West Surf Project!
Me (wife) and my 2 sons aged 9 and 13 had surfing lessons from Simon, top surf instructor at the West Surf Project. Booking the lesson was easy through the very friendly owner Antonio. It was our first experience surfing and it was great. There was friendly and passionate teaching with clear instructions. We surfed in different places because of the height of the waves. We can recommend the West Surf Project to everyone.

Excellent surf school
Excellent surf school. Very good at teaching and made younger children (aged 6&9) really enjoy the experience and also feel safe
Very good instruction and easily contactable.
Look forward to coming back to Portugal to surf with them again.
Focused on small groups so could really understand the instructions and try and put them into practice.
