Su recorrido comienza en la ciudad más grande de Nueva Zelanda. Mientras salimos de la ciudad, su guía no solo preparará el escenario para su aventura de hoy, sino que también le señalará y guiará más allá de algunos de los lugares más destacados de la ciudad.
Saliendo de Auckland viajamos hacia el sur a través de la impresionante campiña de Waikato, la zona agrícola más extensa del mundo, encontrando hermosos paisajes, ríos caudalosos, excelentes oportunidades para tomar fotografías, montañas impresionantes y una variedad de animales de granja en el camino.
– Al llegar a la primera atracción ‘Hobbiton’, abordará uno de los grandes autobuses verdes de Hobbiton y partirá en una visita completamente guiada de dos horas y media de este increíble set de películas de 12 acres, con un guía profesional de Hobbiton para garantizar que obtenga el máximo provecho de su visita. Partiendo hacia Rotorua pasamos por Tirau en nuestra aventura. Apodada la 'Capital mundial del hierro corrugado' debido a las numerosas esculturas y edificios únicos de hierro corrugado, esta ciudad nunca deja de echar un vistazo y reírse y nuestros guías señalarán todos los aspectos más destacados en el camino.
Una vez en Rotorua, su guía lo dejará en su alojamiento en Rotorua (solo hoteles centrales) o en una ubicación principal en el centro de Rotorua.

Our tour guide Simon was so friendly and welcoming. Everything was so stress free & organised. We had the option to add on a trip to Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland, which we took. We really enjoyed our trip and I definitely recommend you book if you’re wanting to a way to get to Rotoura from Auckland. Such a calming drive with amazing views. Cannot recommend more.
Great tour! Super informative! Loved having that lil bit extra time in hobbiton compared to other tours! John our guide was fantastic, even though we weren’t booked in for the Waiotapu he was easily able to add us on and get us sorted for that extra bit, highly recommend!
What a great day it was. It began early, really early, but the drive went by fast. We were only three in our group and that was an opening for a unique experience. Timmy, our guide, was brilliant leading genuine discussions and telling stories about the area and about NZ. Just a great day. I'm very happy with the tour and can't recommend it enough.
Lovely tour. Very punctual and hospitable. Grant took care of me and others anwering any questions and prepping for all contingencies from traffic to your times while still allowing time for shopping and even a Hokey Pokey stop. He's kind, patient and extremely efficient and knowledgeable about the area and even have recommendations for other restaurants and experiences. Hobbiton to was well handled all around and a great experience especially for fans of the movies. Had a great day overall and thanks again to Grant for making it particularly special!

Just an unbelievable adventure. Such a bucket list thing to do for any Lord of The Rings fan! This is some of the most spectacular views anyone will ever see on their lives. A must do!
We had a great experience with Cheeky Kiwi Travel. Geoff was our guide and he was engaged with the group the entire time and very organized. Prior to pickup, everyone was added on whatsapp and given time updates. He also talked a lot about local things on our ride to Hobbiton. We booked with another company for the return trip from Rotorura (due to availability) and the difference was definitely noticeable! Would definitely recommend Cheeky Kiwi and their attention to detail and clear communication.

We used this tour to see Hobbiton and reposition from Auckland to our next Airbnb in Rotorua. Our guide Geoff made the drive go by fast by telling us lots of information about the sights we passed and the country in general. Hobbiton is not to be missed, especially if you’re a fan of Lord of the Rings - but really interesting for almost anyone. This was our 2nd experience with the Cheeky team - you can’t go wrong with these guys!
