Itinerario
Comience su recorrido de un día en Asuán cuando lo recojan en su hotel o crucero y conduzca hasta la Gran Presa de Asuán, un milagro de la ingeniería construido en la década de 1960. Desde lo alto de la Gran Presa se puede contemplar el lago Nasser, el templo de Kalabsha en el sur y la enorme central eléctrica al norte.
Continúe hasta el Obelisco Inacabado en las canteras de granito de Asuán, de donde proviene gran parte del granito rojo utilizado para los antiguos templos y colosos. El Obelisco Inacabado todavía yace donde fue tallado cuando se descubrió una grieta mientras lo excavaban en la roca. Su guía egiptólogo calificado le explicará cómo se talló el obelisco de 1 tonelada y por qué la grieta provocó su abandono.
El último de los tres sitios famosos de Asuán que verá generalmente se considera el mejor. El templo de Philae fue trasladado cuidadosamente a su ubicación actual (a unos 500 metros del sitio original) cuando la construcción de la Gran Presa provocó que las aguas circundantes del Nilo aumentaran. Un corto viaje en lancha lo llevará a la isla, donde su guía lo llevará a un recorrido a pie por el templo antes de darle tiempo libre para explorar más por su cuenta. Dedicado a la diosa Isis, el templo de Philae tiene un hermoso entorno en una isla en el río que ha sido ajardinada para que coincida con su sitio original.

We did one last tour while staying in Aswan and this one was great. My husband was becoming ill from the heat on previous tours and Big Mac did everything to keep him cool and in the shade and also navigated us away from the huge bus loads of tourists that can be a problem. He was kind and funny and informative. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic experience exploring Aswan's most iconic sights in just one day. The High Dam was impressive and learning about its construction was fascinating. The speed boat ride on the Nile to Philae temple was great and the temple was amazing.
