Itinerario
Comience su recorrido de un día en Asuán y recójalo en su hotel o crucero y diríjase a High Dam de Asuán, un milagro de la ingeniería cuando se construyó en la década de 1960. Desde la parte superior de la presa alta se puede contemplar el lago Nasser, el templo de Kalabsha en el sur y la enorme central eléctrica en el norte.
Continúe hasta el Obelisco inacabado en las canteras de granito de Asuán, de donde proviene gran parte del granito rojo utilizado para los templos antiguos y los colosos. El Obelisco inacabado aún se encuentra donde se esculpió cuando se descubrió una grieta cuando estaba siendo excavada en la roca. Su guía egiptólogo calificado explicará cómo se esculpió el obelisco de 1 tonelada y por qué la grieta hizo que se abandonara.
El último de los 3 sitios famosos de Asuán que verá se considera generalmente el mejor. El templo de Philae se trasladó cuidadosamente a su ubicación actual (a unos 500 metros del sitio original) cuando la construcción de la presa alta hizo que las aguas circundantes del Nilo aumentaran. Un corto viaje en lancha lo lleva a la isla, donde su guía lo llevará en un recorrido a pie por el templo antes de permitirle tiempo libre para explorar más por su cuenta. Dedicado a la diosa Isis, el templo de Philae tiene un hermoso entorno en una isla en el río que ha sido ajardinado para que coincida con su sitio original.

We had an exceptional experience visiting all three locations. Our tour guide (Aida) was really great and very helpful. She is very knowledgeable of the history of each location and also shared some really important tips for our travel from Aswan to Luxor after the tour was finished. I highly recommend this tour if you are interested in several of the highlights while visiting Aswan.

We were disappointed by the tour guide's, Ida, lack of guiding. For starters, she requested a later start than scheduled that caused us to miss one of the sights. At Philae Temple, she spent some time explaining what we were seeing and then spent the rest of the time on a bench on her phone. At the Unfinished Obelisk, unlike the other tour guides who accompanied their guests, she, again, sat in the shade and on her phone. We missed the dam completely as we ran out of time due to the late start. I recommend visiting Philae Temple, but unable to provide feedback on the dam. The obelisk may have had more significance had Ida done her job and explained everything we saw.
Dear Valued Guest , Regarding to a complain from the valued guest 1_ late start , we started 9.00 a.m after arranging with the guest, not 3 hours delay and we spent our time at all sights without rushing. 2_ I offered them to go to the dam but they refused saying that it’s too hot for them and also they have to go to the boat having lunch as they booked a tour to the Nubian village at 2:30pm and that was a bout 12.45 p.m and I mentioned clearly that the dam tour never take more than 45 minutes but they insisted not to go. 3_ Regarding using phone I didn’t have so much time for that. I only used it once in the free time while they were taking photos and that didn't affect the guiding or explaining time and the reason for this to answer the operator who make sure that the guest making their tour in a smooth way it was no problem for me at all to go to the dam as there were a couple with them in the group they said they wanted to go to the dam we got them another car and I went with them The other couple asked to write a good review about the tour as they enjoyed it very much , they already know that the tour is around 5 hours and after the tour they send request for refund which is totally refused How come in the same group 2 enjoyed very much and didn’t complain about anything ( they asked to write a good review about me) and some other they complained Thanks indeed and Kind Regards

Three very different parts to the tour. Temple of Philae is magnificent, the unfinished obelisk was really interesting and the dam and the impact on the local community was fascinating. Michael was a great host -knowledgeable, articulate and he took a lot of stress out of the ticket purchases and boat hire. Would highly recommend

We had a great time exploring Philae temple and seeing the Aswan dam. The temple is gorgeous! Michael was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who spoke perfect English. He also helped us make other arrangements for the next part of our trip which was very appreciated. I would highly recommend using this tour instead of trying to navigate it solo if you're not familiar with the area.

We had an amazing tour with Aida. She was so knowledgeable , personable , accommodating to all our needs , she also helped arrange transportation for the other days of our trip that she wasn’t with us thanks to her boss Michael. Philae temple was amazing after a fun boat ride , the dam super cool and even did a trip to the Nubian village with her the next day ! Don’t hesitate to book with them ! They were amazing !!

Based on other tours this one was just okay. Always great to have an educated guide so you know where you’re going and what you’re looking at. We had Mack or “Big Mac.” Knowledgeable but a little too touchy and my friend & I didn’t appreciate the pet names like Princess. He also didn’t want us taking pictures while he was talking. We did get time to take pictures after we were free to roam on our own. I understand wanting to keep us engaged, but constantly boasting if things are “clear?!” and telling us to not take pictures was annoying. Philae Temple was worth a guide but you can visit the Obelisk on your own & be fine. Once there they took us into a room and had us watch the History channel’s excerpt about how it was created & discovered anyways. Didn’t need a guide for that. One of my friends wasn’t feel and skipped out on this tour to rest. Of all the tours we did, this was a good one for her to miss.

Very good tour. Tourführer spoke perfect German as he had lived in Berlin for several years. He and the driver arrived at the hotel on time. All places were visited extensively and tour guide explained many backgrounds. We particularly liked the temple tour, where he told us many details about Egyptian history for a long time. Transport by car and water was only rented for us and we never had to wait. Absolutely recommendable - thank you
