Parta de Roma para emprender un viaje y descubrir tres lugares sagrados en Umbría. Una cómoda furgoneta le recogerá en su hotel o apartamento en Roma y le llevará a Asís, lugar de nacimiento de San Francisco. Visitarás la Basílica de Santa Maria degli Angeli y la Porciúncula, un lugar de oración. Explorarás las calles medievales, la Basílica de San Francisco y la Basílica de Santa Clara. Finalmente, junto con su guía, llegarán a la iglesia que alberga el cuerpo del beatificado Carlo Acutis. Dado que la entrada es gratuita, el acceso estará limitado a los tiempos de espera, dependiendo de la afluencia de público. Tras la visita guiada, tiempo libre para disfrutar del almuerzo. La excursión continuará hasta Roccaporena, lugar de nacimiento de Santa Rita, donde descubrirás los lugares vinculados a su vida, incluyendo su casa natal. Roccaporena es un pequeño y pintoresco pueblo medieval situado a pocos kilómetros de Cascia, en Umbría, y famoso por ser la cuna de Santa Rita. En el corazón de Roccaporena se encuentra la casa natal de Santa Rita, actualmente un importante punto de peregrinación, donde los visitantes pueden conocer la vida de la santa y su profunda vinculación con el territorio. La casa se ha convertido en un pequeño museo que recoge objetos relacionados con su vida y su espiritualidad. Roccaporena alberga también el Santuario de Santa Rita, que incluye el convento donde la santa pasó parte de su juventud y la pequeña iglesia que guarda algunas reliquias que se le atribuyen. Otro lugar significativo es la gruta de Santa Rita, un refugio natural donde la santa solía retirarse en oración y meditación.

We had the most wonderful day in Cascia and Assisi with Giuseppe, our guide, and Valentino, our driver. They both went out of their way to make us comfortable and to show us the best of Umbria. We toured some of the most special and holy sites and learned about the real lives of St. Rita, St. Clare, and St. Francis, and we got to see the tomb of St. Carlo Acutis as well. A private guide was waiting for us in Assisi to give us every detail about the history of the city, its cathedrals, and its art. We learned so much! There was plenty of time for rest stops, shopping, and a delicious lunch recommended by Giuseppe. The van was very comfortable and Valentino was a fantastic driver, especially in the holiday traffic. We are so very glad we chose this tour and this company and will definitely use them again when we come back to Italy.

We took the tour to Assisi and Cascia in Spanish with Federica and Maximo. It was truly very good. Very beautiful places, and we had time to visit the sanctuaries and where the saints are. We also had the company of a local guide in Assisi. Thank you, I know it is quite a lot for one day, but it was worth it.

I booked Mamma Mia Italia because they are the best. It was a private tour. We had fun in the van with Giulio and Roberto. Our St. Francis tour who gave us the whole story of St. Francis of Assisi and a Blessed Carlo Acutis was Mark. He is one of the best English your guide in our list. Clear in everything he explains. Very caring and warm too. This tour is our culminating tour of our Family Lenten pilgrimage. We've been to Lourdes, Black Madonna in Montserrat, Fatima in Lisbon, Rome for the Easter Mass, Papal Audience. Visited Padre Pio. Of cour, to pay our respect and visit to Papa Francesco! It was a very deep, meaningful experience for our family. Giulio was very sweet and kind. Assisted us so well and explained whatever he can share to us since we boarded the van.
