Great, surprising tour, with some delicious things to eat! Heartily recommended the tempura garlic cloves and the amazing pancake! Wonderful company and lots of new things discovered. Thank you Jacob x

Our family toured around with Kaz for 3 hours and had a great time. Our kids are 7, 10, and 13 and he was able to make the tour engaging for them as well as the two other ~20 year olds who were on our tour. It was nice having someone to guide us around Asakusa and the shrine as it was incredibly busy. It made it a lot easier to experience a bunch different food stalls and get context on the area.
Thank you so much for this kind and wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear your family had such a great time exploring Asakusa with Kaz. It’s fantastic that he was able to keep everyone engaged—from your kids to the other guests, while navigating the busy area with ease. Having a guide really does make discovering the food stalls and learning the local context so much smoother. We truly appreciate all of your kind words!
Meeca was a fantastic tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and took us to many hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. There were several cool little activities for our 7 year old daughter mixed into the tour and she really felt a part of it.
We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed your tour in Asakusa with Meeca! It’s wonderful that she was able to share hidden gems and create a family-friendly experience with activities your daughter loved. This is exactly what this tour is all about! Meeca really enjoys tailoring tours for guests, and we’re thrilled she made it special for your family. Thank you for this incredible review, we hope to see you and your family back in Tokyo sometime!
Our evening in Asakusa with Ema was honestly one of the highlights of our Tokyo trip. He has such a sweet and calming presence, and he made sure the entire experience felt slow, enjoyable, and perfectly paced. We tasted so many delicious dishes, each one better than the last, and his recommendations were absolutely spot-on. It felt less like a tour and more like walking around with a friend who truly knows and loves the area. Thank you, Ema, for such a memorable and heartwarming night in Asakusa. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Thank you for sharing your kind words, and we hope the memories fo that heartwarming night stay with you for a long time.
Our tour started in the morning and we visited the market. We learned so much and tried so many things. Jacob our guide was great and spoke perfect English. We had tuna sushi cut fresh in front of us (the best we have ever had). We tried fresh oysters, beef sashimi and many other things. The tour ended with a picnic to enjoy all of the the items we saw in the market. Great way to try many things.
How wonderful to hear that your morning with Jacob was such a memorable experience! Sampling fresh tuna sushi, oysters, beef sashimi, and so many other treats sounds amazing. We're thrilled that Jacob's guidance and perfect English made learning about the market so enjoyable and accessible. Ending the tour with a picnic to enjoy everything you discovered is always a perfect way to round out the experience. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're so glad you got to try so many delights!
We were kind of underwhelmed by this food tour. We didn't eat anything that blew us away. In particular, I was surprised we didn't eat any sushi. Some of the food we ate actually gave me a terrible stomach ache. It was pretty expensive and I didn't feel it was worth the money.
We’re truly sorry to hear the tour didn’t meet your expectations. We always want our guests to leave feeling delighted and cared for, so your feedback is very important to us. We’ll review this experience with our team to ensure that our food selections, pacing, and communication meet the high standards we strive for. While sushi is very popular it is not something we add to every tour as we try to share a wide range of Japanese regional and seasonal food. We would love the chance to welcome you back for a tour more aligned with your tastes—perhaps a sushi-focused or market experience next time. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and helping us improve.
